The Granby Barn Store location could not have been more helpful. We experienced difficulty locating the equipment I needed on short notice but after a few phone calls and some searching they were able to come up with a solution that worked great. This sort of helpfulness is rare and appreciated. Thank you very much.

We were charged for cleaning and a missing blanket. The cleaning charge was for folding blankets. Nothing in contract or after hours drop off info said they had to be folded. I counted the blankets myself and there were six. When I called to ask about the charge the owner blew up at me on the phone saying I parked my trailer In the wrong place and it blew across the parking lot. It was parked next to another UHaul truck. To me it sounded like she charged me for that as she was very upset. I feel I followed the instructions and should NOT be charged an additional $16+ fee. I dropped the trailer off several days early and was inconvenienced at the pick up and had to pull a trailer larger than I wanted to.

See above comments! Uhaul, you have disappointed me. I feel that for all the issues we had, you should have been compensated something and like I said above, I believe I was over charged!

Make on line reservations better. For instance I tried to reserve a trailer and the on line system referred me to a different location miles from my home town where I wanted to rent. I had to go in person to make the reservation.

Very disappointed in the manager Heather {Powers she was very rude and disrespectful to me as I returned the trailer to this location not knowing it was a local rental only and she was not helpful at all explaining to me what your rules were.

Deb Thompson went the extra mile to get the trailer we needed. 5x8 trailer with roll-up door is the worst design ever. When latch is not in proper position, you can't pull the door down.

When I rented the truck, the gas gauge was somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 (more towards 1/4) so we said 3/8. When I arrived, the attendant made me add 1/2 gallon more gas because she said it didn't look quite 3/8. Then she said I needed to pay an additional $1.60 because I went 1.5 miles over the allocated miles. I feel nickel-and-dimed at both pick up and drop off.

When I arrived in Granby, CO to drop off the rental I called the 800# on my contract (as instructed). I was told the location in Granby 'was not accepting drop offs today', and I could drop it off in Kremmling, CO, which is 30 miles furtherf; the U-Haul rep. on the phone refused to give me the address for the drop-off location in Granby (there is no such address on the contract either). After several minutes of arguing I realized what was going on: U-Haul did not need my rental at the Granby location but they did at the Kremmling location and they wanted me to deliver it to the latter for them. I told the rep. that she had 2 choices: 1) give me the Granby address so I could drop it off as we agreed to in the contract,or 2) I would drop it off at the Granby Police station and she could send someone to come and get it. After about 3 seconds of silence, she gave me the Granby address. As a final note, the person at the Granby drop-off location said U-Haul is always doing this to their customers and referred to U-Haul as a bunch of a$$e$. Bottom line: next rental I'm calling Budget, not b/c of the persons at the U-Haul locations, they are businesspeople trying to make a living, but b/c of the U-Haul corporate types.

staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. I was probably out of there in 15 minutes. And for a small location, they had good inventory.

The woman running the facility was less than professional. She accused me of returning the truck with just under a full tank of gas. My boyfriend fueled the truck for me right there on site and the pump clicked off. He tried to penny up to an even number and the tank was so full that it wouldn't let him. The employee called me the next day and accused me of returning the truck with just under a full tank. I tried to explain to her, as did my boyfriend that the tank simply would not hold any more. She was rude about it. I believe that there is an issue with the gage or float in the tank and it needs to be checked out. I also feel that the employee at the Granby location needs to be schooled in manners and professionalism. I believe her name is Tammy.

Debbie was great. However, it was much more costly than it should have been. I couldn't get a truck from my nearest dealer (Avon, CO) because they were closing down for the July 4th weekend (yes, the entire weekend) and the Gypsum dealer would not give me a price without making my reservation. So, I had to go to Granby, CO (an hour and a half away) and take a daily charge instead of a transfer.
