Cell service is bad so mobile pickup is difficult. Shop owner and U-Haul on the phone unable to check in any other way than smartphone, which aforestated is a nightmare. I would try anywhere else first if I need this service.Cole F.
I was impressed with the automated check-in process. The only thing lacking was a comments section. Our rental truck cabin smelled strongly of pet urine at the time we picked it up. While my husband mentioned this to me, I didn't pay it much attention while we were going through the check-out process; but it turned out to be a horrible way to travel 1100 miles. The check-in process gave me the option of clean: yes/no. We left it cleaner than we got it, but we could not remedy that smell (left by someone before us). I did not see an area for comments, so there was no way for me to let you know via the automated check-in process.Carrie S.
A very large and aggressive dog charged the door when I knocked and continued barking while I tried to talk to the person who was not very helpful. The packing blankets were dirty and not folded and bagged. When I returned the truck to a different location, I was expected to fold them. Shouldn't they be cleaned before another customer uses them? The truck floor was muddy....which wasnt a big deal, but I had to explain it to the drop off place or be charged a cleaning fee. Uhaul must not mind these smaller rural stores not doing anything to the trucks when they are dropped off....expect zero customer service and sketchy trucks.James C.
Vicious barking German Shepard dog at entry to location. could not enter to discuss getting a receipt for return. Took 3 days to processionals return. Was told on phone that computer was down. Truck returned on Nov. 5 and receipt processed on November 8.Lawrence E.
