I had a reservation for pickup in Vancouver Sunday October 8th. When I arrived, no trailer . I was referred to check with one of three locations after 9:00 am when they open for obtaining one. We were told There was not one trailer in Vancouver or Portland available and we were offered to drive to. Corbit, Or or Longview, Wa. This was a horrible delay for us. Only suggestion is if you say you will have a product available make it so and if you can not say so.

Where do I start? Picked it up at 10:00 am. Was told it had a half tank of gas. Went to get in it and it only had a quarter of a tank. That should have been a sign of what was to come. I go to my house and spend all day loading it. I go back to the place that I rented it from, to fill it up. And guess what? Someone cut the neck out of the gas tank and the gas spilled out when the attendant tried to put gas in the tank. So there I am stuck with a uhaul full of furniture and no help. The kids running the place were no help. I showed them how we could put gas in the tank so I could be on my way home. But noooooooo. They said they couldn't do it. So I left, and went to the gas station a block away, gave the attendant 10 bucks to look the other way, and I crawled under the uhaul and put gas in the tank from under the truck. I'm still so pissed. Next weekend I have to rent another truck and make the same move. Looks like I'll be using hertz/penske. I can't risk this happening again.

The man working at this location swore continuously and he did not know how to process us. It took over an hour to check a truck out to us, and he had to have someone on the phone try to walk him through it, he still couldn't do it so she had to do it for him (I spoke with her on the phone to get the truck and she was very helpful). I felt so uncomfortable there that I had to use the drop box to return the keys because I didn't want to waste another hour trying to wait for him to check it in or to get sworn at more. This was entirely unacceptable customer service and I am extremely dissatisfied.

Everything and Everyone was Respectful and Helpful !!

You can put hitch on properly so it doesn't bust off on the freeway. It dented my tailgate and scratched up the entire rear of my truck.

Owner/manager (Michelle) is abrasive and obnoxious. Also inflated charges even compared to similar locations.

The truck was dirty and drove like shit. The trailer was bent and the gas tank on the trucks paper work did not match how much fuel was in the truck so when I returned it I filled it up to where it was when I picked it up and I was charged!!!! I was also charged miles because he drop off location was not in my town where I moved. Not a good customer experience. Never again, you suck.

Jeromy P. on

The guy was cool. The trailer was bend and the truck was dirty. The fuel was marked at half tank when it was actually less.

Would be good if the cargo van I received was washed before receiving . Other than that customer service was great . By the way I washed the cargo van before I returned it .

The engine light was on, no one was to check me in because the guy with the key just left, and they charged me for gas when i had just put 10.00 dollars in it. I am not happy about that.

I had a animal die on our farm yesterday, our truck is in the shop- and I needed a truck to take my trailer to the renderer (with my dead alpaca in it). This morning I reserved a p/u truck through your call center. I asked for the Gresham location. When I got to the Gresham location I had to wait in a line that took over 20 minutes. Then I was told by a nice young man that my reserved p/u truck had been reserved at a different location, several miles away (which turned out to be a Shell Gas station that had an Uhaul sign on it!) It took a while to get my p/u checked out since the only one there was the gas station attendant (he was very nice and did a good job). I was on a tight time line and the gas gage was on 1/4 full so I decided to fill up the truck with gas so I wouldn't have to stop on my way back for the return. I put $39 worth of gas in the truck. Since my own truck was at the shop in SE Portland with my stinger and ball on it and had to buy a new one. Then I was told I had to buy a hitch and stinger at back at the main Gresham location. I drove back to that location and stood in line again - more time over 40 minutes getting settled there, then I went home to get my trailer and found out the converter that I bought wouldn't work with my trailer! VERY frustrated I drove back to the Gresham location, returned the converter. I couldn't return the stinger and ball because it was put together. By then, my time line for was gone. The renderer is only open until 1:45pm. And I still had to drive the truck back to the Shell station, paid for 20 miles mileage, the $19.95 charge and the taxes and fees. This event cost me $100 and I did not get my trailer to the renderer with a dead animal in it. Thanks a lot. Hope the next person enjoys the gas I paid for!
