I was assured that there would be someone there to assist me with hooking up the vehicle tow trailer to my RV and that was a lie. U-Haul was aware that the location was not an affiliated one therefore would not have a person there to assist. I'm a senior citizen traveling alone and had told them that I would need assistance. Luckily, a friend who was with me to help with the car transport was able to do it. I don't know what I would've done otherwise. There wasn't an option of going to another U-Haul place because none of them had vehicle transport trailers and U-Haul doesn't move anything from one location to another. To improve…be honest! And use a little of your corporate profits to hire people to transport equipment.

EDWARD G.I dropped off large trailer at this location. I was told to park it next to a dumpster they would come around back. I did what was requested and chalked the wheels. When the lady showed up she asked if everything was ok. I said that I need the leverage bar to remove this large trailer from the hitch. She said that we done have one. What? I've never seen any uhaul employee hook up or remove a trailer this large! Well, ok maybe you could possibly help, an we could together get it off. She promptly informed me, they don't allow us to touch anything. What? I've never had a job where I wasn't supposed to do anything. This was like Walmart self checkout, I do all the work, someone else gets paid. Question, if I do the work, remove the trailer and get hurt am I entitled to workers compensation. I am working for uhaul, and if the real employee can't do the work, because of safety concerns, why would you tell an man over 60 to remove the trailer by himself. She did say I could drive it to another location after I had already removed the safety chains an wiring. I have rented these large trailers many times. This was certainly below the standards of uhaul. This whole experience was an accident waiting to happen !
John C.Lisa was very friendly and helpful. She answered my questions and got me on the road. She made the pick up easy.
