The location was closed during the return period forcing an after hours return. The app didn’t recognize my location so I was not able to process the return so I got phone calls all weekend asking about it. Then I was charged a late drop off fee. Additionally there wasn’t enough room on the property to return the truck and trailer forcing me to park it in an awkward position.

Michael BAll was good.
Jessica BMy problem isn’t just with the location. It is with the entire process. I made the reservation online well in advance. I get a call the day before saying I will have to go to a location further away to pick it up. I get there and I can’t get the app to work after 30 minutes I figure out why the guy meant about the code to the lock box. It’s not intuitive that you think a combo lock has letters on it not numbers. I had also reserved an appliance dolly. It wasn’t anywhere to be found. I had to call another U-Haul location to get a dolly. Stop what I was doing and drive to Go pick it up. Another hour lost. Get the truck and leave to start the move. Then I start getting hounded by uhaul reps calling because the truck isn’t officially on a contract since the app didn’t work. Another hour lost talking to them. Then the location I got the dolly from wouldn’t let me drop it off with the truck. Mind you I have a funeral to attend and the guy who answered that day was being a jerk and could care less that I would have to drive 30 minutes one way to drop off the truck. Get home and then drive another 20 minutes one way to drop off the dolly. It was ridiculous. I even tried to drop it ten minutes from my house but they had added a wrong location drop off fee of $30. The whole thing was really sad.
