Super nice people to deal with

We were stranded after a crash without a vehicle. Staff picked us up at the motel and delivered us to their location. We got on our way quickly and recovered our belongings before our truck was towed to the insurance salvage yard.

The worst U-Haul location I've ever been to. Not only did they charged me twice because of there error and lack of knowledge of the U-Haul system. Then when I return the truck they falsified the receipt documents to show the same amount of fuel that it had when I picked it up when in reality I left it with extra. They also changed my contract to charge me for every single mile instead of honoring the contract that I still have in my hand stating my charge, how many miles I was allowed, and how much each additional mile would cost. This is a complete outrage

Went there because they didn’t have the trailer we ordered in our location 45 mins away. Arrived and they had the wrong trailer reserved had to take a smaller one and they charged us for the larger original one we ordered. Had to call corporate for a credit. No one to help attach the trailer and girls didn’t know how too. Very disappointed.

Wildhorse Propane & Appliance was amazing. My issue is with U-Haul. I scheduled my pickup to be in Salinas, CA where I was living. Two days before pick up, I'm told I will need to drive to King City, CA to pick up the truck. That added not only 100 miles of driving, but required an hour of my time to and from the King City facility, two hours total. Wildhorse was very accommodating with my scheduling needs, but I consider it to be a serious shortfall on the part of U-Haul. It would have been an inconvenience, but acceptable to inform me a week out, but two days? I scheduled the truck a month before I needed it. C'mon U-Haul...

If your dropping off your van or rental at night do not follow GPS. It takes you too far and to a house. The location for this place is right off the highway to your left. No sign so keep eyes peeled.

Staff was extremely helpful! Uhaul's main line did not inform me that I would not be guaranteed the location I wanted and they gave me a pick up location 45 miles south of where I needed to pick up. So along with customer service line (again) and Wildhorse Uhaul I was able to get what I needed to help with the move. Thanks Paula and staff!

When we arrived the truck was not ready, it was dirty in the cargo area the man at the location cleaned it the inside of the cab was dirty as well the man at location cleaned it for us, next problem was the truck would not start they had to jump start the truck this would end up being a problem once we drove to our home to load the truck the truck would not start again I tell I jumped it with my personal vehicles and charged it for 40 mins

The reason for the bad review on this location is that UHAIUL themselves told me it was open 24 hours but they close at 3 pm. No peronnel available to help, gate to property locked with no access. Very remote location, very dark at night. Tried to reach UHAUL customer service, on hold 45 mins still no agent for clear instructions for drop off and I still had a 3 1/2 drive home at 9:30 at night !!

The location was fine and the staff worked hard to try and fix everything I haul did wrong. I had reserved a truck to pick up in Paso Robles and was told the day befor that it was available in Santa Barbara-90 miles south of where I was loading. I changed it to this location. When I picked up the truck I was told it was 100 more to drop it off st the location I originally selected. I could save the 100 by driving over one of the most dangerous roads in America. I will never use uhaul again and will tell everyone I know to avoid it.
