Lady who gave us the keys and the truck was very unprofessional. I know it was early sunday morning. But in the past we had a great experience at this location and she was not professional at all!

I was billed for an extra day. This is not against this location this is a uhaul issue

Great experience. The trailer was stable to pull and was exactly what we needed to haul our bins.

Bad experience, very bad for a short while. Manager at rental location realized problem, accepted responsibility, and I went home wary but happy. Thumbs up Lansing location for handling the problem professionally.

The contract stated the gas tank was full however it had only a quarter of a tank. This was not a problem since the truck usage was for local purposes only and took just 2.5 hours. Since it was required to return the truck to full I did not feel obligated to do so since I traveled less than 30 miles and filling the truck would have taken 20+ gallons. I did put in $20 worth of gas to demonstrate good faith but I am sure everyone would realize $20 worth of gas was far more than 30 miles would use. I will await my receipt to be sure everything is in order.

I suggest not letting employees smoke inside or around customers.

Truck had a terrible suspension. The ride was so rough I thought it had a flat tire. The steering was very loose and the truck conitnuosuly drifted at highway speed. Was a ton of work to drive and after ~200 miles I was exhausted. This is approximately the fifth time I rented a truck and this was absolutely the worst one. Seems like a lot of the local fleet has high mileage and in bad condition. I had one that leaked water into the cargo area. I think I will be looking for a different company than U Haul next time I need to rent a truck.

Great customer service

I filled the tank back to what it was before I left the truck and then I got charged $21 for fuel. I spent $25 to fill up the not even half of a tank that I used! I needed that money for my own gas!

Store was supposed to open at 7 am. No one showed up until after 8:30 and only after calls to the Uhaul call center. One employee (an older gentleman) came on his day off and was helpful. The woman who was supposed to be there finally showed and offered no apology. In fact, she was rude and complaining about having to get up that early. She came to work bringing at least one young child because I saw him get out of her truck after she went inside the store. On top of that, a new employee that helped us reserve the trailer was kind of incompetent. He started off helping us outside looking at trailer sizes and just kind of wandered off. When we saw him inside, he did apologize. He helped us reserve the trailer, but he didn't know what he was doing and needed a lot of help from another employee. We are definitely not impressed with this location.

Be up front about the fees and whatnot.

The trucks driver door was not sealed properly so it was loud and annoying for our entire drive out of state

Have your employees show up on time for a person that has a 7 AM reservation to pick up their uhaul instead of having to wait in the parking lot until 9 AM for employee to show up. Also I have called corporate and they said they would email me about a $50 credit I should be receiving and have not heard anything back from them either. Will probably not be using uhaul again because of this experience

Great service!!

This location was a good 20 minutes away which wouldn't have been so bad if it was the original location that I was told to drop off. I received a call the day of to return to this location and to call first when I was on my way. When I called they told me they weren't taking anymore drop offs. My call for transferred several times (obviously no communication between the locations and scheduling). It's hard enough making the move and to have this hassle at the end of the day was just a disappointment. Whatever "free" miles that were offered to me ended up still costing me.

Very professional and efficient with checking in and out.

Easiest drop off to date!! I would suggest a bigger drop off area, but it was so busy yesterday and usually not that crowded. I wish I knew who took my trailer because he was GREAT!!
