When we picked up the truck, we were told this location was open until 7. When it was dropped off sometime around 6 the location was closed. My husband said the gas gauge was at 3/4 tank, but I received an email showing them reading the gauge at the tick below 3/4 charging us $22. I highly doubt it cost that much for gas, considering it was at 3/4 when we dropped it off. I don't know how the discrepancy occurred.

Nothing comes to mind to improve it but Tori was one of the most knowledgeable Customer Service/Salespersons I've ever dealt with @ U-Haul.

When you move, you expect the equipment to be in good repair and completely fueled for your move. The truck I was provided had just under a half a tank of gas and a head light out. The last thing I expected was to make my first stop to a gas station before I could even begin my move. I also didn't expect I would be driving at night (pickup was at 4pm) with only one headlight .. safety hazard and against the law. I was offered a $50 credit if I drove it to another location and had it repaired ... again, not figured into my moving plan to have to go and get the truck repaired AND fueled before I even start my move. The personnel at this location were excellent and tried to be helpful... I should have been offered the credit regardless of whether I took it in for repair or not ... not a great customer service experience.
