the lady I signed the paperwork with picking up the truck was terrific. the man I dropped the truck off with was not nice - crusty. I was told I could leave the dolly in the truck, but the man scolded me for doing so. Need to have consistent policies; otherwise, don't scold the customer!

great service. We picked up on a Sunday and woman at desk was very pleasant. Made it a great experience!

I took an hour and a half to get the truck even though I reserved it early due to the uhaul server being down. This created a very expensive cost for me because I was supposed to have the truck at 1 pm to pick up office equipment. I had to pay an extra fee due to having to pick the stuff up after hours due to no fault of mine. I will be using other methods/ moving companies in the future.

Van was dirty in front where seats are and inside was dirty.

There was a previous dog in my uhaul. It smelled of dog and there were dog hairs all over the seats. I am allergic to dogs, so it wasn’t a pleasant experience for me. Also I think it’s unfair that I had to pay mileage and gas.

I booked the truck for 7 am and they sent me a message to confirm it but when I arrived to pick it up the person told me that only until 8 am could she help me and also not happy with the price. It says 29.99 are the truck plus the miles and they charged me much more

The truck we rented had a hole in the roof so my mattress was soaked by the time we got to where we were going. I am not sure if it will be able to be saved. currently working on trying to dry it out and make sure no mold sets in.

I was told I didn't clean the truck out properly even though I did, this location shouldn't be so picky for what was a small amount of debris left if there was any actually left.

Could not check in truck upon dropping off Then proceeded to charge fuel fee When went 100 miles and I put 8.5 gallons of fuel 500 feet from location Website said trucks get 10-12 Then you want mark a nonexistent mark on fuel Would like to see pic of actual truck upon arrival and drop off Different people can mark different marks

It was my first time getting a u-haul and everything went great! The truck was in great condition, and made the move easy. Aubrie was extremely helpful and friendly. She allowed the experience to run smooth! She let me know the details from how much it cost, how much milage would be, returning the haul, etc. If I ever need a u-haul again, I know where to go.

Our trailer was fine. Uhaul service was absent at a time we desperately needed it. My father passed away in January. We rented the trailer to take furniture and “treasures” back to our home as we prepare to sell his home. About 5 hours into our 14 hour journey, the trailer had a blowout on the driver’s/interstate side of the trailer. We contacted uhaul to request assistance multiple times. They said they could not locate a service provider (we were 15 miles from Meridian, Mississippi). After 2 hours we requested a tow—it was late and dark and we were in danger. Nothing! After 2 1/2 hours on the side of the interstate a driver on the interstae traveling 70mph fell asleep and rear ended the trailer. His car flipped so far down the interstate you could see lights ahead, but not his car. It rested sideways in the right lane on its roof. He stood in the middle of the interstate screaming, “Help me!” My daughter ran to take care of him until help arrived, I shone a flashlight trying to warn oncoming traffic, my husband pulled pieces of his car out of the road. If anyone would have hit debris, 4 people were in grave danger! Still no uhaul assistance. Highway patrol came with flashing lights to warn oncoming traffic, state trooper, ambulance, and wreckers came. My family was discharged from the hospital and made it to a hotel at 5a.m. We slept a few hours, drove to buy a new ball part for our hitch which had been destroyed on impact, picked up a new trailer, drove to the next town to the yard where the wrecker had brought the destroyed trailer and the pieces of our heirlooms from my father’s house and waited for the men uhaul sent to transfer the load from the damaged trailer to the replacement. At 4p.m. on a Sunday afternoon we resumed the remaining 9 hours of our trip. Uhaul did arrange for the replacement trailer and the load transfer men—too little, too late. Uhaul would not pay for the hospital bills, hotel bill, trailer hitch part. No compensation for our destroyed property in the trailer, and my insurance totaled out my vehicle. Uhaul paid nothing and jacked up the rental fee for the trailer. I fought that and they did return their fee to the original contracted rental fee which I was required to pay. For some reason, rental was not debited from my account until about 2 weeks after the trailer was returned. Of course, the man who hit us had no insurance and no driver’s license. He spent a night in the hospital. I am thankful that he is ok. It ranks up there with the most terrifying things I’ve experienced in my lifetime. ...and one of the most infuriating. Please just be aware uhaul has sketchy plans regarding service when needed and accepts no responsibility if it means paying a penny for expenses incurred after their “no service” results in problems. If you are at risk, call 911. Uhaul allows you to remain in danger:

Everyone was great at Angliana. The loaders I booked through Uhaul were no-shows and that destroyed my schedule. I almost missed my deadlines, literally less than a minute to spare.
