the location attendant was super helpful and pleasant. would recommend just because of him. i made the error of choosing the in town option rather than one way. was not able to make the change to one way. but it all worked out fine. appreciate your help!

there was no one there to inspect the vehicle when i returned it. He told me over the phone to leave it outside the gate. The next day day I was billed way too much for how long I had it and the amount I drove.

If you're looking for 24hr self service this location does not offer it. I booked my services for a Friday night, arrived to find the lot gate padlocked with a chain. I was 5 min late from my scheduled time. I called the number on file and did not receive an answer over several minutes. Then I left. I received a call back shortly after and returned to get my van. I was told that I would be given a code for the gate via text message in order to drop off myself. There was no drop box for keys. The code was never sent to me. I arrived at the estimated time per our discussion. I waited one hour for a response from the owner. I called ten times and texted five times. I left the van where it was because I have a life and I was promised 24hr self service. The owner returned my texts after I had left. He said a family issue came up preventing him from seeing his phone. Funny thing, you're the one running a business. This was false advertisement plain and simple. The owner shows up when its convenient for him.

No one was at the location and everything was locked when I went to return the truck, during posted business hours and well before the contracted return time. It took half an hour to get someone on the phone and make the return. I hate to get anyone in trouble, but unreliability in a moving-related business can ruin peoples' lives. I'm definitely not going back to this location, and avoiding Uhaul in general from now on if at all possible.

Have the trucks washed. It was tough to see in the sun. Also it took over 30 min to return the truck because the gate was closed even though the place didn't close for another 2 hours. Pretty sure the lady was sleeping.

Associate was 30 min late for our reservation. Upon returning the uhaul there was no one there to assist us. We called multiple times and after about 15 minutes we found someone to help us.

First location where I originally ordered my u-haul in Lynwood, CA (Long Beach Blvd) were very rude and explained that the truck I ordered online was not available. That I should go to Cudahy, CA to see if they have something for me. Once I asked on how this could be resolved, the manager just yelled that I should call the 1-800 number. No complete number, just "the 1-800 number." So I called in there lobby and no follow up was offered. The customer rep after putting me on hold twice to locate a truck for me, was able to tell me "mam your truck is ready but its in the Whittier location, I will email you the address." The location was over 25 miles from where I was, explaining that I was paying for an Uber, it seemed that this was my fault. So I had to pay over $30 to get from the Lynwood location to the Whittier location. Once I arrive, the building was closed and looked abandon. Trash all over the front stairs, back of the building, by the gate entrance, and overall poor property maintained. A u-haul rep was able to call me to tell me that the owner lived around the corner and will be arriving soon. I spend over 20 minutes waiting on the steps of the building when the owner/manager/rep of the location called to tell me that I should let myself in the gated property and take the truck on the right. This truck had spider webs on the mirror, tires, and over all dirty. I explained with this pandemic we all had to be careful but because I was in need of a truck decided to take it. I did end up sanitizing the interior with my own supplies. Pictures of these details were taken on site for proof. Since getting to the Lynwood location 15 minutes early from my appointment to when I actually received the truck was approximately 4 hours. I was offered an additional 10 miles for the inconvenience, although I appreciate attempt to make me satisfy with the service, this does not fix the delay of the trip. Making me late to the school appointment I had in Barstow, CA for my son's new school to receive his class schedule, text books, computer to attend virtual classes the next day, and orientation. Hopefully there will be an opportunity to fix this tomorrow with the administrators. Not sure if there is anything U-Haul can do for me to believe in the service and be a repeated client.

Very low key place. I was confused at 1st, for the odd location, but its very convenient to the DTLA area. Good to know there's a Uhaul dealership with lots of trucks to choose from, even a 17 foot truck. My favorite!!

Uhaul is a great help. I work very close to this place and I'm glad I have a dealer so close to me. We do film making and the place couldn't get any more convenient to DTLA area! Good to know we have a dealer close to our office.

After I was sent to 3 different locations and it was already 2 hours after my pick up time there was no one here and it took someone another hour to get there for me to get my truck. The guy didn't put in the right mileage which caused problems for me at drop off time

We were told to drop off the truck at 900am. It wasn't open. We called the 800 number as nobody was answering the location number. We were then told to drive 20 min. to a different location. I explained we had just filled the tank and driving would put us over our miles. Then she said we could wait until 10 which is when our chosen location actually opened. We decided to go back at 10. When we went back, it was still closed. Had to call the 800 number again for instructions. We were given a location a few miles away. Then the person from the original location called to apologize and gave us the code to leave the truck in the lot. He was nice, but we had been inconvenienced twice and wasted over an hour of our time.

I'm not sure when u-haul became so expensive, but its definitely not worth the price . I rented the 17 footer for three days at $29 per day . My total appon returning the truck was $300 plus and to add insult to injury the lock on the back of the truck was faulty . For a little more money or possibly that amount I could have hired movers .
