I rented an 8' bed truck at the rate of $19.95. Took the $10 insurance waiver. After traveling 8.2 mikes total I brought it back and they tried to charge me $103.00. They said I traveled over 65 miles in the course of an hour, used over 3 gallons of gas. Fortunately I stopped everything and questioned the charges. It is ok her 20 minutes to reverse the charges. After major arguing she finally reduced the charge to $45. A major rip off and very unprofessional. NEVER USE THE UHAUL AT NATIONAL BLVD!!!!!

Booked checked in online for 17' truck but they were "over booked" i had to use 15' truck instead wich was really durty and sticky in driver cabin.

I had a discrepancy over the fuel. When I rented the truck it was 3/4 full. The salesperson said "Oh, you mean 7/8". And I said "3/4". I drive a total of 16 miles. The truck gets 12 miles per gallon so I used roughly 1.4 gallons. when I returned she said that I needed to add more fuel. We had a disagreement but I decided to fill it up to the line she requested. It took $8 to fill up to near the 7/8 line. The math here is all wrong. The gas costs $2.19 per gallon. So that means roughly 3.65 gallons x 12 miles per gallon = 43.8 miles. When I only drove 16. This doesn't make sense.

Based on convenience this location was great but had poor customer service.

The lady who helped us was too quiet, and I couldn't hear her half the time. The woman we spoke with on the phone said we could do after hour drop off but upon arrival it wasn't an option - which then screwed up all of our plans. Unfriendly staff, and wrong information. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Should have made it clear those furniture pad rentals are per day - charging 20/day for 6 furniture pads is outrageous.

I ordered a dolly online, and they didnt have it for me. Have the equipment available

Open the store on time (waited for 15 minutes after our pickup time was supposed to occur, since shop owner was behind in opening the shop). If that store doesn't accept pick-ups before a certain time, they shouldn't offer 9am as a pick up time. also, we pre-checked-in online however they claimed that information isn't shared with them so we had to re- submit information, delaying our day further.

It was pretty expensive - $80 just to go to Ikea and back!

The customer service staff member, Dennis, was one of the most excellent experiences I've ever had!

your policy on paying .69/mile and gas at the same time makes me feel like your have to many separated fees and something that should cost $50 for 4 hours ends up costing $100 because there is no real way to replenish gas tank exactly as I found it. I will not be renting from Uhaul again.

Please avoid this location and Uhaul. I reserved a 17' van online a few days before I was moving out. I received an email stating this: "We have a 17' Moving Van and Appliance Dolly reserved for you and guaranteed Saturday, 3/4/2017 at 12:00 PM, returning Saturday, 3/4/2017 at 5:30 PM." I showed up on time only to find out they didn't have the truck they said was "guaranteed"... The lady was everything but helpful. Furthermore, she was rude to me! I was moving out, and I was stressed that I couldn't move out from my old place in time! I'm trying to explain her the situation and then she finally picks up her phone to get other Uhaul dealers and tells me I can have the same truck 9 miles away... That's a lot when you live in Los Angeles and it's a Saturday afternoon. It was now 1 pm and I had to get back by 5:30. So I had to find an alternative. She finally asked me to cancel my first reservation and offered me to rent the 10' truck she had. It was, of course, the only truck left... Well, I initially ordered a 17' because I needed THIS space to complete my moving out in time... I was left with no choice so I took the 10'. Of course we never completed the moving out in time and by the time we were done... the shop was closed. Since the truck wasn't big enough we had to do extra mileage between my old and my new house... I had to go back the next morning and pay extra.. She said she wasn't responsible because she wasn't Uhaul (then who is responsible here?), she made no effort and didn't offer us any discount or apologies... I'm very upset, and I will never use Uhaul services again. Sincerely, U-HAUL CO 10321 NATIONAL BL LOS ANGELES,CA 90034 (310) 202-1645

The gas tank was significantly less than half full when I received it, which was not enough to bring me to my destination just a few tens of miles away. I understand that given the small place it is difficult to fill every truck after return, but I expect at least a 2/3 full tank. Especially given that renters who return the car with less than what they received it with pay for the refill, the staff at U-Haul should then do the refill. Other than that the place is good, nice staff, good vehicles.

The staff person who attended me, Ramona, was impatient and a bit rude. My truck had not been returned for my 10 am pickup. I was anxious, she wasn't very helpful.

Aaron G. on

Windows and mirrors were filthy. Woman at desk was surly and seemed to expect me to know what to do and bristled at simple questions such as my asking if I could return the truck in the evening. She had me check the mileage and fuel. She acted as if the customers were an annoyance interrupting her day. I've never Yelped a negative review. This might be my first. A lot of hassle for a truck I used for a total of 8.9 miles to pick up and move two appliances.

Personable and efficient staff. I would rent here again.

Great service and very friendly

Be open later on Sunday's so I could of returned the truck.

Had difficulties convincing the initial staff handling the vehicle's return that I had replaced the approximate amount of fuel (based on provided mpg of the vehicle) that I had used during the rental; despite having the receipt for the refuel.

The peaople at the office tried to scam me and did not give me the correct amount.. they over charged me and was not very nice when I asked questions on why.. I was very polite and I did not expect to be charged 3x the amount I was told I had to pay over the phone nor did they tell me that they're was a 35.00 surcharge fee
