Customer Reviews

Nice friendly staff and quick service

Would have been nice if the truck had cruise. Also, the gas gauge is quite small. I found it was hard to see, I thought the level was the same as when I picked it up, yet it was less and it cost an additional $33 dollars. If you are going to be so perfect I should have had the truck full of gas and to be returned with a full tank. This 5/8 or 3/8 is too imperfect.

Wasnt open. Drop off was swift. Drop box. The place is actually called T and M rentals. Not Dickie investments.

The staff and service in Melfort was excellent.....the issue is that I was informed the day prior to the rental that I would have to travel 200km round trip to pick the rental up. Not good service from U-Haul on that aspect would have been much better to know change of location a little sooner. Doubt I will use U-Haul in the future if this is a common occurance.

Critical issue was the contract as seen during the set up screens was not what was on the printed contract after payment. System should be set up to clearly identify the terms prior to payment rather than afterwards.

Make sure the vehicle is available were the customer wants to pick up from cause driving an extra 200 km out of the way to pick up the truck under the circumstances was highly inconvenient.

Brutal. First we called to book in April for our May 30 move. I called 4 times just to confirm that my truck and auto transport would be available. Every time I was told that there is no booking until the day before. (Even though I called over 30 days in advance) Then the day before I was called and the rep told me that the closest truck was 175 kms away and that I had to go get it. I get there and the lady that was helping me told us twice that we are so lucky we got a truck because even though I was called and told to go there that if I had showed up 15 minutes earlier she would have told me she didn't have one. (There were 2 in the parking lot both 26" which was the size I ordered.) She then made us wait for 30 minues because she ignored her customers while she went and helped the workers at her shop. She came back and went ahead with the order. She had different pricing, missing insurance, in the end she had to call uhaul to get it sorted out. In the end she discounted the price to cover the insurance mis-quote I was quoted. All in all it was well over an hour I had to sit at this uhaul in Melfort to get my uhaul. Not cool at all. A joke actually. This one is good. So I had to pick up the auto transport in Saskatoon which was the other half of my order in Saskatoon. So we went there and the guy at the front desk had to grab a girl on her lunch to come help us because he didn't "have a clue" how to process my order. She came and helped us. Again, different pricing, again had to call a boss! They had 2 different charges for the exact same insurance on my bill. That got sorted out. And so we go through the yard to get the transport onto the truck. The guy didn't even know how to hook up the hitch on the transport to the truck. So I did it. And then he was relieved when another worker got back from lunch to help me. So the next guy comes over very, very, rude and sarcastic with me. he actually knew how to hook up a hitch. He double checked it. But then I dove my car into the back of the transport. But I couldnt get out of my car once I got up because the rails over the wheels on the side of the transport were blocking my car door from getting out. In the end they made me crawl out my window. When I asked if this was how everyone did it they said yes lol. I got to my destiniation and when I tried to jump in my car they laughed and showed me that the rails actually came off so That's how people got in and out. They also said my tires weren't even strapped in properly. My car could have killed someone due to their negligence. All in all a JOKE. The funniest thing about it all is because when I was paying, on the prompt of the moneris it said ," we guarantee that you will have your equipment where and when you need it". An absolute nightmare. Oh and then there is a sticker on the glove box advertising movers , but when you call, they are saying they will show up with their own truck. Duh we have our own truck, the one they gave us. It ev
