You can have the rental item at the location on the day of pick up. There's a reason you can select a pick up site and an item- not one or the other. I rented a trailer to haul a vehicle 72 miles, I had to drive 41 miles to pick up the trailer and then drive back the 41 miles back home to load my vehicle, just to drive the 72 miles and drive past the Uhaul location I picked the trailer up at.

When using the online pickup, UHaul did not state that to pick up the truck, alternate contact, passport, work or other information was needed. This unnecessarily sowed the process. This information has not been needed for counter pickups in the past, so it was a surprise that this information was needed. Understanding that this is new for both UHual and the customer, I would expect UHaul to better help the customer to be ready for a speedy pickup. The customer service agent Danielle was very helpful. Also, suggest that you provide the option of 2 alternate contacts on the initial form, since few people will have a passport, company contact or the other option (I forget what it was), with them as a normal course of picking up a rental truck

Make sure the equipment is clean. Pay close detail to how clean the cab of the rental truck is before renting it out to customers. Nothing shows how unprofessional a vehicle rental location is more than having a dirty seat, floor, steering wheel, and dashboard where the driver and passengers sit. Also charge customers in a timely manner. I did not receive my bill until almost a month after using Uhaul's service's.

I wish U-Haul's website made it easier to tell pricing differences before checkout. Ended up spending an extra $30 I didn't expect because of the way you book online. The experience of pickup and drop off was easy, and after understanding the website better, I would be prepared to rent through U-Haul again.

this entire experience was the worst moving experience of my life, and there have been many. the problem was with the reservation system and the various "customer service" reps along the way, not with the specific pick up and drop off locations or the staff there. Since i already tried to make a verbal complaint and was told someone "would get back to me" (which didn't happen, of course) i am guessing there is no way to ever get true customer service from whomever is behind this poorly run operation.

Individual locations are fine. It's the booking process that is terrible. My booking was booked and cancelled twice, because of bad information. They would book me and then cancel because they found out later that there was no trailer available at the location they booked.

I would only recommend this pick up location for when they are open. The keys were not in the lock box that they were supposed to be in, and it took about an hour extra to be able to have Uhaul contact them to get the code for the other box.

I had a terrible uhaul experience. Integrity was great and saved the day but I first had a reservation on line at integrated auto in Boyceville. 24/7 pick up didn't work. Waited for place to open for an hour and no one ever showed up. Had tried to book in Menomonie and site had said no trucks my size available. Then in the end I picked up the truck in Menomonie. I wish uhaul was not the only game in town or I would not use again.

Truck had hard time starting. Wouldn't crank over very well to start. Left me stranded 3 different times and had to get jump started. With this truck being at auto garage facility we as customers shouldnt be worried about maintenance. Very unsatisfied.
