It would be helpful if the rental was attached to an app where the customer could keep track of his or her day to day charges. As this rental is not able to be viewed from the U Haul app which customers do enjoy using, do to its simplicity and transparencies.

My reservation was made 2 weeks in advance for a different location (1247 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Merced) for pick-up & drop-off which is located within a 10 mins walking distance from my home. On the day of pick-up reservation you relocated me to the pick-up location at 2785 N. Sante Fe Ave, Merced which is 3.8 miles from my home. It takes approximately over an hour to walk to. I was forced to find a last minute ride who would be available to drive me to my pick-up location and drop-off due to the long distance from my point of origin.. If I had taken an Uber or Lyft, for not being able to find an available friend. U-Haul should foot the bill. Penalizing a customer by relocating their original pick-up/drop-off locations for having an early rental request is very poor customer service. The one Good thing: The woman who runs the 2785 N. Sante Fe Ave, Merced office provides excellent customer service. She was very accommodating and helpful.
