Location was uninviting and offputting - felt unsafe

The vehicle was at a flea market. Vehicle was not on time. I had to wait over an hour. This caused me to miss part of the graduation I was there to attend. After waiting an hour I was taken to another location a convenience store. Waited an additional 30 minutes and was told my vehicle waits. Opened my vehicle to find the inside was heavily smoked. Cigarette Butts and 3 disposable lighters on the floor. We even found 2 used Marijuana joints. The inside was horribly dirty. The drink holders were filled with liquid. This was a horrible site. I had no choice as the vehicles in other locations were all spoken for. I made my reservation over a month in advance. This was an extremely poor presentation of what U-Haul has to offer. The origination point should take all of the blame for this experience. I had to drive the vehicle to Kansas as my son would not ride in the vehicle for 8 hours as filthy as it was. I paid over $500 for him to fly and meet me at home in Kansas. For something that should have cost me $500 ended up costing me $1,000. I am extremely unhappy with this and I will look at other suppliers of rental vehicles before I use a U-Haul again. Freddie Montalvo

Trunk was on empty. It cost 86 dallars to fill. I notified uhaukl and they only gave us $32 credit for the gas and was told it had to be brought back full. There were no furniture pads and there was dried feces in the truck. We requested to pick up the truck at 1500 s. 1st street and got routed to a different pick up locality. I went to general manager at the 1st location and he got us pads and credited to the pickup location that we got the truck from.

When I made the reservation by phone it was a different location and when I arrived they told me someone had stolen their truck batteries so I had to go to this location and I had to rent a smaller truck because they didn't have the size I originally reserved. I'm upset that I had to rent a smaller truck because I had to take three round trips to move all of my stuff. Otherwise this location is okay, the staff was really nice.

Pick a location where the costumer can feel safe and make sure store is open. It was 2pm and store was closed

Detail these hidden ass Fees BEFORE hand and not after the fact. And the fuel fee is entirely unacceoted when the gas hand was just a notch before half and not after half like first purchased. Highly dissatisfied with my first experience using a moving truck.

Was charged for the insurance after I requested not to be. The guy who ran the Uhaul at this location called multiple times into the help line and was unable to get it changed. Either he did not know how to do it on his end, or he was not getting help from those he called at Uhaul. After an hour at the location I ended up paying for something I did not want as I had already wasted more time than I can spare. I have had pleasant experiences with Uhaul in the past, but after this may take my business elsewhere.
