Over all experience was terrible. Trailer was fine. Staff was fine. Organization was terrible and totally unacceptable!!!! Had to go to three places over a 3 hr. period to finally find a trailer, having been told that there was a trailer at each place when not. Finally, the place where found a trailer didn't know that it had one. Same disorganization on return. Will not be back!!!!! JD

Although I had prechecked in for my rental, I waited 25 minutes for the site to work through issues with UHaul's internet management. The UHaul program kept freezing up prior to finalizing the transaction. A phone call to UHaul management was required to charge my credit card and I received no rental paperwork. The UHaul rep had only a few rental units and only 3 moving pads available.

Lady was not very knowledgeable about the procedures for rental of uhaul. She stumble thru it and eventually Rick came into the office and was able to finish the process. Both were very polite and apologized for the inconvenience. My real problem was with your central reservations cause they located several places with the truck I needed but the were closed and one other didn't have any trucks but reservations said they had 3. It was the 2 July prior to the holiday but a lot of confusion.

I dropped the trailer off Friday 5/5/2017 . The lady at the counter said "I'm not really good at this Uhaul stuff yet." She showed me where to leave the trailer and never left the office. I just received a statement that I was charged an extra day because it was just checked in today, Sunday 5/7/2017.

This was definitely the most uncomfortable uhaul rental experience I have ever encountered. I'm not one to complain BUT, there was a large part of me that wanted to call the corporate line to see if this location was legit. The location was at a KOA which I can understand that it was not a Uhaul store, but, when we pulled up there was no one to help. I'm a handy female but that is besides the point. The woman at the front office called someone and when we went over to the trailers he advised me to just "hook it up." I was really confused because I didn't even know which one to choose from the mix (the dimensions for the one I ordered). The guy eventually came to help us after I asked him to and once we got to the trailer he opened it and it was full of ants and wood pallets. More or less, used as a storage for the campgrounds it appeared. He swept it out luckily but then the paperwork part came. He couldn't log in to the account, couldn't print a contract or receipt and to be honest the transaction took well over an hour. That part wasn't fun after driving 2.5 hours to get it then still had 2.5 hours left of a drive which easily put us into the evening hours. The trailer lights weren't checked to make sure they worked before we left the facility either. Discussing where we should return it wasn't fun either since we had to drop it off over 30 minutes from our final destination (at midnight) when there is a uhaul every few miles in Jacksonville, FL. In the future, it may be easier just to buy a trailer instead.
