The truck was dirty on the inside and outside with mud all over the passenger glove box, floor board, and door panel. The driver side floor board had a lot of mud and the brake and gas pedal. The door panel was dirty and looked like a drink had been spilt on it. The windshield was so dirty it made it difficult to see out of. The windshield wiper fluid was empty. The steering wheel was off centered which makes you wonder if the truck(s) are ever inspected. So one has to wonder if the oil and transmission fluid is every checked or changed and the tire pressure ever checked. We felt very unsafe. When we picked the truck up no one showed us how to work anything or showed us how the back door opened.LUCILLE S.
I was told that I could return this rental to any location. The location where I wanted to return the rental said there was a not on the system that I agreed to return the rental to the location of pickup or I would pay double the amount of the bill. This is not true. VERY DISAPPOINTING.Arthur C.

The Truck was not clean. It was a new truck and drove great with less than 3,000 miles. The cargo area looked like cattle had been hauled in the truck. Fortunately it did not smell that bad. Maybe it was mulch. Mom's Attic was horrible. I swept out the truck. I also had to spray and whip much of the cargo area including the floor. I had to hose off the ramp to be able to use it. My problem is not with the location, but with U-Haul's handling of my reservation, overall. I had reserved an auto trailer to bring my car with the truck I rented. Unfortunately, the trailer was apparently only available at a location nearly an hour from where I was to pick up my truck, which was a logistical nightmare -- needed 2 people to help get the car and truck to that location, plus a ride home for those helpers. When I got to the auto trailer pick-up, the trailer "had not been returned yet..." should be there in a few hours. Long story short, 9 HOURS LATER, the trailer arrives. I do not fault the Feed & Seed location, whose manager was actually as helpful as he could be. The system U-Haul has in place for customer support was hopelessly useless while I was in limbo, and it forced me to make my 6-hr trip in the dead of night, rather than early morning, not to mention all the time it killed. Was I compensated? yes, $50 out of the hundreds I paid U-Haul for this fiasco: that is the equipment availability guarantee. What a load of crap! good luck staying afloat, U-Hacks.Sean L.
