Did not receive the dolley I paid for, Truck was dirty inside cab and in box, (Fold seat down and there was splatter from a drink, and mud/dirt in passenger floor board,Box was not swept out before pick up) took truck anyway because we was on a time crunch, Ended up having to buy a dolley from Lowe’s

Tad EThis has nothing to do with the location as the location was very good, but to do with Uhaul. I will not be using Uhaul ever again due to how your reservation process is lacking. I was not informed that I would have to provide alternate contacts that you would NEED to contact before reserving. I struggled as any contacts I knew were working and had trouble getting someone that I could get a hold of. What point does having your employees call someone just to ask if they knew me serve? They didn’t have to provide a credit card or anything so IF I don’t return your equipment what point is having called them going to do? If I was the secondary contact for someone and you called me trying to get information on them I would tell you that is your problem, so again what point does having your employees waste my time, their time, and my contacts time just to ask if they know me? I worked for Uhaul back back in 2008 and I have used uhaul for multiple cross country moves, around town moves, and recommended Uhaul to friends and family which in the past two days has completely changed. I have now told all family members, including the ones I struggled to find as my secondary contacts to never use Uhaul again and will be telling all of my coworkers and college recruiting teams for when we hire and move people to our offices. I get discounts through my bank and professional organizations that have always been cheaper then Uhaul but I used Uhaul for the convenience of your many locations, this new policy of having to contact and speak to secondary contacts for what purpose I still don’t know has caused enough of an inconvenience to start using Penske, Enterprise, or any of the other rental companies. If you are having issues with pieces of equipment being stolen or abused maybe you shouldn’t be forcing self service use of your equipment and actually have employees check in and out equipment. If you would like to discuss this I am open to discuss why this is a new policy and have ideas of what you could do differently. Unless the policies change or someone actually contacts me to discuss this ridiculous policy I WILL NOT be recommending Uhaul to anyone for anything. Before submitting this review I tried to use your “contact form” but as there is no selection for feedback I’m not wasting anymore of my time trying to give suggestions through electronic means, if anyone would like to contact me you have my email, phone number, as well as my secondary contacts that are well versed on my feelings here.
ROSS CIt's a long story, involving 1st trailer rental (wheel came off), a new defective refigerator, an initial rental agreement for the 2nd trailer that stated no penalty for return to Jena, your agent in Olla that changed the agreement without telling me, your clerk in Alexandria telling me that that what I get for not reading the final contract, and your new invoice 92 days later for $107.26 (82.00 drop off penalty). Contract 73532153. Your agent in Olla (Sentry Satellite) is a poor businessman and is untrustworthy. I have rented Uhaul trucks and trailers for over 50 years - this experience was not positive.
