Random tattoo parlor parking lot in Orangevale. Nightmare scenario!! No dolly or furniture pads, even though I had ordered them. Had to drive across town. Not acceptable!

I dropped off the vehicle early 8pm instead of 9pm. I spoke with the employee when dropping it off. She told me to leave the key in the drop box. The next morning I saw that the drop off was recorded at 10am the next day!!! $200 in charges for a 15' local truck same day rental.

tight turn and difficult to find entrance

Small dog in facility was very loud and a bit menacing. Made me think twice about entering the office. Very helpful personnel, however.

I grew up in paradice, we filled tour truck with much needed supplies and took them to the moose lodge in Oroville. So many helped to load food ,blankets ,pet supplies, watter,tp,children's items as well as over 200 jackets ,and more. I was grateful I could get a truck so fast and convenient at such a fire time . Many of my family members lost their homes and it beyong comprehendable at this time . I want to thank you for having the trucks in locations that make picking them up easy. Very poor experience. Reservation was moved to another location???? Vehicle was quoted as having a half tank of gas but was empty to the point of almost running out if gas? Very Poor Job Uhaul!

The person I went to when I walked in did not even turn around to speak to me and told me to leave my paperwork on the counter, he never came and checked my vehicle or anything and I was charged 66 dollars for a refueling fee when I left it right at a quarter of a tank which is where is was when I got it this is horrible service and I shouldn't be charged for something this person didn't even check at the time nor cared to even speak to me.

This was not the location I reserved the truck from. I was informed as when I was on a plane to fly in and had minutes to turn my phone off. I had to call my daughter and have her check everything as I was flying. The truck was not connected to the trailer. The parking lot was almost too small to get out of once I connected the trailer. The fuel was marked wrong on the documents. I would like some money back.

Incredibly unprofessional location. Its inside of a tattoo parlor. People sleeping on the couch in the office. Parking lot is way too small for storing and backing up a trailer. They had me disconnect and park the trailer. They should stick to tattoos and not be a Uhaul venue.

I was charged for 2 days but I only had the U-Haul for 24 hrs. Can you please find out what’s going on ? I tried to call the number on my invoice but no one answered. I also called U-Haul and waited on hold for way to long , got frustrated and I hung up

Truck was filthy. Less than a quarter tank of gas when given. Overcharged from quoted price. Had screaming children running around unattended like a day care that were the owners. Worst Uhaul ever.

Hello, I rented the 26ft truck one way from Fair Oaks CA to Oceanside CA. After I reached Oceanside and unloaded the truck, I called ahead to let them know I was dropping off the truck. SURPRISE!! The girl that answered the phone said "We cannot accept the truck here, because it's too big. She gave me a number to call. I called and was told I would need to return it 60 miles away in Temecula CA.!!. And if that's not bad enough, when I asked to speak with a manager or area Representative, the rude wench laid down a line of BS about that area office being closed. When I explained how business is done and someone had responsibility to cover that area she refused to give me a name or number. What a crock of sh*t! Logistics is NOT the customers problem. I did not ask for an extra day(free) with free miles. How was I to get home? Walk,or hitch a ride with someone I didnt know? After several disturbing phone calls, talking with some rude and callous employees, I had enough. The next morning I called Oceanside Uhaul. What luck, as I spoke to a intellegent young man named Ryan (location manager). After telling him all that happened, he apoligized for the trouble I had been put through. He said he would take possession of the truck. Seems to me Uhaul could use more employees like Ryan in a better capacity instructing employees the fine art of CUSTOMER SERVICE, because your company has plenty to learn about that aspect of running a business. They were exceptionally polite and they even helped carry the blankets and the dolly to our truck!

There was only 1 guy who knows anything about UHaul there. I hooked up the trailer myself. I called to find out about turning a few minutes late if I would be charged, was told they were not accepting any returns due to a tatoo event. I was charged for 4 days, but only had the trailer for 3. I dropped it off, and the guy wouldn't come out. No receipt, just told it's fine, you can go. I will never go back here.

I booked my reservation to pickup a trailer from Nor Cal Tattoo on Sunday afternoon. It said they had one available and I was able to reserve and pay for the trailer. I drive down there to find out they are closed on Sunday. It ruined the plans I had to purchase something on Craigslist and I'll no longer be recommending Uhaul to friends because of this. If the business is not open....why does the Uhaul site say they are and allow me to purchase a trailer?!

I was never notified that it was remote pick up only (the business has been closed for a week or so, apparently). I never received a phone call or voice message, even though there was a note in the system saying a voice message was left. I arrived at the pick-up site on time (11am) but the business wasn’t open. I attempted to do the remote pick-up but it wasn’t available on my profile. I called in to uhaul and they told me the business was not currently open and it was remote pick up only. The person I spoke to told me I needed to download the app to do remote pick up. I downloaded the app and remote pick-up was still not available. I called uhaul again and the person I spoke with updated it so I had remote pick up access then told me it was my fault that remote pick up was not available because it was outside the pick up time (by this time it was almost 11:45). I had already explained the whole situation to her, so to be told this was my fault was unacceptable! I started the remote pick up until I got to the section that requested two people to contact to verify who I was. I was never notified that this would be required and did not have two people who were available for a phone call ready. I used the chat service to ask whether the contacts needed to be for myself (reserved and paid for uhaul) or the primary driver, but did not receive a response. I called uhaul again and was finally able to get someone to process the pick up over the phone. I didn’t get the uhaul until after 12pm, over an hour after my scheduled pick up time. The last person I spoke with did provide a discount on the rental.

Make the trailers taller for standing erect, have air in tires and notify customers of horrible swaying. I couldn't go over 50 mph on a 10 hr trip. No sway bars or anything to help. Horrible trip.
