I had a confirmed reservation at the Rancho Cordova location. They gave my reservation away and i had to find another location. this put me 2 hours behind schedule. When asked if i could return vehicle to the Rancho location, they said no. That made for a very frustrating weekend. Not sure i will rent from any UHAUL again.

Ensure the correct return address is confirmed before selecting it. The person helping accidentally selected a different drop off location instead of the one I had pre-selected online.

do not move both the pick up time and the location for pick up the day before someone is planning on moving. This makes moving much more difficult to do. bad review for this reason

I was told by the inside agent that the gas was at 1/2 a tank. When I went outside, I was greeted and was told the gas was under 1/2 of a tank. With all the pressure U-Haul puts on their customers about GAS, I felt as I was being taken. I was in a hurry so I did not address this because I had a 10:00 appointment and wasn’t helped until 10:20. I had 4 people waiting on me. So my overall experience with U-Haul was Average to below average! The outside was filthy. Screws and nails and so much debris around the pick up area! The drop off was smooth...

Couldn't get the size trailer I wanted so I was upgraded to a larger size for the same price! Nice! Staff very friendly and accommodating. The trailer was quite old and did not come with any locking device. Had to buy a padlock at the counter when checking out.

Used uhaul many times. This wasn't the best experience. It was a local rental. I paid a cash deposit $100. Explained to the lady that they would have to take the gas out of the $100 as it was all I had on me. She informed me the gas would be $5.25 A gallon, I agreed. Upon return I knew the $19.95 +$30 in gas would eat up most of $100 deposit. But I didn't know there would be an additional $30 "fee" added if the tank was below 1/4. She informed me I owed .19 cents. I was appalled to say the least. I will be leaving a yelp review to let others know to look at the fine print because that uhaul store is shady. I feel uhaul owes me $30! Bet your butt I'll be having friends help with my next move. You ripped me off u haul. Shame on you!

Made to walk to the uhaul storage facility on 1850 glenrose, several blocks away. After, traveling from New Mexico to Sacramento, and unloading a trailor and a truck, into a uhaul storage. Collaberation efforts are poor. Customer safety and security from one uhaul location to the other is of vital importance. If something happened to me during the walk, uhaul shares in liability. This needs an appropriate solution, not the disregard displayed by employees. It is apparent the issue is not new, and "uhaul corporate" is not willing to listen to customers and employees struggling for a solution. The employees defer to the hierarchical powers, as if told to do nothing about it. Fix this, please.

I can say with 100% certainty that I will never utilize U-Haul's services in the future. I have used this company many times in the past for moves and have never had any problems until now. Clicking poor is an understatement. First off, we had some problems with the reservations even before I rented the equipment. Once I picked up the truck, I put my trust in the young man that moved it up to the front. I did not check the contents of the equipment because he "checked" it before he gave me the ok to leave. I made it pretty far down the road before realizing that I didn't have the equipment that I ordered. Upon arriving at my destination, I realized that there were only 5 out of the 6 furniture pads in the bag hanging in the back of the truck. I counted them, put them back in the bag and latched the REGULAR dolly in its place. After returning the equipment at the location I attempted to check the vehicle in using the application. It did not work. Which is why i do not have proof that the pads were in the back, conveniently enough (for you). On my way from the truck, I noticed a couple bundles of furniture pads just sitting in an open trailer by the door. If I did loose the pads, why wouldn't I just take a couple of them and throw them in the back? Because I didn't loose them. I honestly wish I could give 0 stars because that is the rating this store deserves for treating me so poorly.

I felt uncomfortable leaving the trailer unlocked With the gate open and no one working. Other than that it was a breeze.

I gave a below average rating because I had a reservation for 7am that i made through the uhaul 24/7 program, and there was no truck assigned to my reservation! Then i tried calling the 24/7 number and there was no response until 12pm! 5 hours later! So needeless to say i was very unsatisfied.

Line was extremely long and since you have to get the keys from a customer service rep the whole, no waiting in line aspect is kind of gone. A separate "quick check out" line or something would be a great way to eliminate that and maybe persuade online ordering. Other than that not a bad experience at all

I was charged a cleaning fee for accepting a dirty trialer. I used it in that condition and returned the trailer in the same condition I received it in, yet I got charged a fee. Quality control should not be selective. I should not have to pay for someone else’s negligence.
