First, it was extremely difficult to get into the building. There was no signage anywhere telling you where to enter. All the doors were also locked. Employees didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. They didn't tell us that we needed to take a dolly with us as there was not one in the truck even though I specifically asked for one. Overall very inconvenient and frustrating experience.

Personable staff - far better than the more corporate locations I had visited in the past. Crazy easy to work with. This is the only location I'll use now.

I originally rented a 15" truck for my May 21 drive from St Louis to Chicago. On Sat May 20 I received a call from U-Haul advising me that the 15" was not going to be available and asked if would be okay with a 17". I said that would be okay. When I got to the rental location Sun morning they didn't have a 17" but a 20" instead. Which was too large and not what I wanted, but I had no option as nothing was available locally for me in St Louis.

Only one vehicle on site and the office inside a large cluttered and dirty storage area. Did not leave a good impression.

There was no one available at this location. I called two numbers before I was able to speak with anyone, and the gentleman just told me to drop keys in a drop box. I parked the vehicle inside a gate that was open but I'm not sure I parked it where I was supposed to.
