The office didn't open until 8:30. the hours of operation is 8:00AM-4:00PM. When dropping of the truck, the attendant was not in the office-had to find him (he was in the back of the store polishing a car). Would have been nice to have a bell to ring so he would know someone is in the shop looking for him. Truck ran well but was not clean when we received it.

1. Driver door handle was broken before we got there. There was another handle in the pocket in the passenger side. 2. The dollies we ordered were not in the van and I had to wait 7minutes to speak with someone. 3. Although we were told they would take care of crediting the charge, we were still charged when we returned the vehicle. 4. Now I have to get on hold for more time to get my credit after calling the local number for the site and getting a full voicemail message.

$1.59 A MILE IS AN OUTRAGEOUS PRICE TO CHARGE FOR MILEAGE!THE FIRST 100 MILES SHOULD BE FOR FREE.WHEN YOU RENT A VEHICLE FROM ONE OF THE RENTAL CAR COMPANIES THEY DONT CHARGE YOU MILEAGE !TRUCKS ARE FILTHY AND YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO THREATEN TO CHARGE THE CUSTOMER IF THE DON'T CLEAN IT OUT.ALSO WHAT IS AN ENVIRONMENTAL FEE? JUST ANOTHER WAY TO SCREW THE CUSTOMER.WON'T BE RENTING FROM YOU AGAIN HOPE YOUR COMPANY GOES BELLY UP AND IS BOUGHT OUT BY SOMEONE WHO WILL DO A BETTER JOB.

I understand U-Haul not able to control to ban smoke inside car. My case I do long drive so I got stress to smell smoke. This is only one complain other else is very good.

i made a reservation for a dolly, and my truck did not come with a dolly. i called customer service the night of the pick up, and the cs rep said i'd have someone call me within 72 hrs. it's been a week, and i still have not received a call, AND i was charged for the dolly!

Though I turned my truck in EARLY, they waited to process my paperwork until exactly one minute after the deadline had passed and proceeded to charge me for another day. When I called them out on this clearly fraudulent charge, they agreed to reverse it but offered no legitimate explanation for why I was charged in the first place, even when I asked directly. When I asked to be sent a confirmation that the charge was reversed, the rep asked me why I would need that. “Well, to prove that I was reimbursed for the wrongful charges of course.” I have yet to receive the refund because they “are too busy.” Those were the exact words. Not too busy to process my credit card payment in the first place, mind you, but too busy to give my money back until tomorrow. We’ll see if I get it back or have to waste more of my time chasing this down later.

I called the u-Haul Customer Service line tonight when I had an unexpected charge several days after I rented the truck. I waited on hold for 20 minutes to talk to someone about the charge. When I was connected to a customer service rep, she couldn't hear me talking and hung up on me. I'm going to try again in the morning.

My husband fell into the open gutter where the Uhaul was parked. We're lucky he didn't break his ankle. He's pretty scratched up. Not a great way to start a moving day. I suggest you put signs up warning people about the scum filled 5-inch open channel that is right where you'd expect to hop out when you park your truck. There is no way this is the first time someone has fallen.

Truck was dirty and only had 1/4 tank of gas. Convenient location but had no blankets available, of which I had ordered 20 to cover my furniture. So I had to use shrink wrap only to protect the fragile items from being scratched.
