Customer Reviews

The truck I was given this time was very dirty and had an unpleasant odor; I didn't appreciate it,but I needed the truck that day,so I had to put up with it.

The location was not open at 330 on a Friday afternoon to return my trailer. I was concerned about leaving it on the road. I didn't think a location would be closed at that time.

Hire people like Ms. Stacey and everyone will be satisfied. Courteous, efficient and friendly. Mr. Cowboy

Your customer service is horrible worst experience I've had

Chris G. on

Friendly service but truck was not cleaned out. Was told that the tank was full and would need to return it full. No issues except it was not full. I drove the truck 22 miles and filled the tank, at a cost of $15. I have pictures to show the mileage and gas gauge level before and after...I was duped.

Service was slow and rude. Almost dismissive. Might be my worst customer experience in years.

I'm going to start out by saying that I wrote Uhaul off a long time ago after a horrible incident with the way you/they messed up my reservation, that aside, we were forced to rent from Uhaul because we were moving on short notice and Penske trailers were not available. We were told that if we wanted to return our trailer that we could just park it on the street. When we arrived at 6:30pm to return it, there was no where on the street to park it except for one space which required us to parallel park it. Do you know how difficult it is to parallel park a damn trailer! We had to physically pick the trailer up and park it by hand. This after moving all day. We were not happy! It would be nice if you would designate certain spots on the street for trailers only. That being said. I will continue to avoid Uhaul at all costs. This was an exception because I was in a pinch but I am consistently disappointed by the service with Uhaul and will try my hardest to not rent from this company again.

Please let customers call a UHaul location directly. We had work done at your White Oaks and Camden Avenue locations in San Jose, CA. It seems the call center and the site don't communicate well. If we had a question that the call center cannot answer, we had to drive to the location to speek directly to a technician. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and that is extremely frustrating !!!!

Turn in location was supposed to be open at 9am nobody ever showed up. Tried to return on the phone, did not recognize my rental. Finally was able to get in touch with customer service, who did not know why this location was not open. She finally just accepted by return on the phone. Turn in was an hour and a waste of time.

At pick up I was told there were 2 locations at the airport 1 was closed on Sunday?? Sat is a major move day, no? Anyway it was closed with no mention of a 2nd location so we had to go to Seaside. Just very confusing!

The truck was not ready when promised and I was forced to wait for an employee to arrive. This mistake made me late for the movers and I had to pay overtime.

Hours of operation were inconsistent. Left a voicemail with no response. I had to call UHaul customer service to advice the facility was not open during alleged 'business hours.' I was told to call UHaul Traffic control and they were not helpful at all.

They don't answer the phone

Wonderful service on behalf of Monterey Pack-N-Go. I would recommend some sort of rope/belt/attachment for dollies to help with transporting it in an empty truck as it could potentially damage the inside.

It would be helpful to have two people at at start of the day to help get the vehicles ready.

I have rented from this location on several occasions. Each time I have the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and I have never had a problem getting my vehicle on time or dropping it off even after they're closed. I give this Uhaul station five stars.

I have rented from this location several times. Every visit is absolutley a delight! Stacey is the best! Thank you.

when sent a confirmation for rental pickup, there was no way to leave a message at local vendor. Referenced national number to call was confusing and useless. Luckily, our vehicle was available at specified time.

I made a reservation almost 1 month before to pick up truck in Salinas Ca at 8:00 am, but instead I got the truck at 11:00 am and on a different location about 30 miles away, then the Representative at pick up place was extremely rude since the begining, she didn't acknowledge me until after few minutes then had a very bad attitude while helping me every time I asked her a question.

It was being operated by a single person who could not handle the customer traffic. Equipment was not functionally ready or checked prior to me renting the equipment. The equipment was in poor condition and questionable whether or not it should have been allowed on the road.

It is a pretty small area for bringing in a 26 foot truck pulling a 6x12 trailer. We dropped off after hours and parked on the street. Not a lot of room to maneuver. But the process was simple.
