The trailer I reserved wasn’t available when I got there. Had to take a smaller one and was over-charged for it, which has not been refunded.

The staff Robert and Russell were fantastic, they explained everything well and made the experience simple. They really made my moving experience easier from pick-up to drop-off!

friendly service and quick response for return. Thank you

I am grateful that I was allowed to return the truck a day late as I had to evacuate my house because of the wildfires in Santa Rosa. But I checked my fuel gauge and it showed 5/8 of a tank, yet I got hit with a fuel charge of $12.90. That was very disappointing.

These employees go over and beyond for their customers and are really helpful and I would recommend this place to everyone due to the excellent customer service. These guys were so helpful especially because Santa Rosa has a major tragedy going on with the fires and these guys were so kind to me! I am very grateful for them and the business should be grateful for their employees. I work at Kaiser Permanente and I have met a lot of people and I can tell you these people are awesome.

Every time I come to this location, the register queue always feels awkward, with all the items for sale being used as dividers between the register spaces. Perhaps it can be opened more. It always feels so cramped. The staff are always nice and friendly.

Unlike last year when I rented a vehicle for the same purpose, I was told I could not prepay with my credit card but had to pay in person at the time the vehicle was picked up.

Complaint: we drove directly from Paradise to Santa Rosa. So, WHY were we charged for being 11 miles "over." That's ridiculous!

With all the stress in moving, Uhaul made it worst. I am a 24 hour care giver to a gentleman on Hospice trying to relocate to CA and his daughter and my son to NV with a 20' truck, car dolly, 26' truck and car transport . I could not believe all the mix ups to drop off the equipment. I have the 20' truck and car dolly in CA but cant drop off the car dolly. It has to go to NV or I had to pay an addition amout. It was all arranged on my reservation to drop off in CA but I should have noticed the contract said NV. You would think the reservations matched the contract. I was crying by the time I talked to someone that was able to help me. I did have to pay extra to drop it off in CA but at that point i didnt even care. Then my son went through the same problems in Reno. The logistic of your company really needs some work. I chose Uhaul because of the price but with all the problems I will pay more money and go somewhere else. The worst thing about all of this is I am the person that has to make this go well for the gentleman I take care off and Uhaul made it a horrible experience.

We had ordered a 6 x 12 trailer and was not informed until we were picking the trailer up that they did not have that size and I would have to travel to another location. No time to travel to another location. Now find out that the $50 guarantee is no good if there is the same item at another location. I would have looked elsewhere if I would have known.

This is the Best U-Haul store I have ever used.

Very helpful.

When I went the first time to be sure the unit size was big enough, the employee told me I didn't need to make a reservation that they had plenty of trucks. A truck wasn't available until 2 days later. When I came to pick up the truck, I walked up to the counter but not one of the three clerks looked up or greeted me. I finally asked if anyone could help me. They seemed very put out by my request. A young Mexican woman who seemed too busy to help me, offered to help. She didn't greet me or make eye contact or say anything about me waiting. Then she handed me off to another clerk when he was available. That clerk was helpful but very rushed. I wanted to buy 3 boxes but he didn't give me instructions of when to get the boxes or what to do with them, or anything. So i picked up the boxes and went outside to wait. I waited about 10 minutes and went inside to ask where my truck was. They all looked at each other and someone said it was already out there. I carried the boxes outside and asked the clerk to help carry the boxes to the truck. She did. I felt like the clerks were completely uninterested in customer service, or offering good customer service to me. When I tried to lock my truck, later, a clerk went to the office to get a lock for the truck as the keys to the lock that was attached to the truck were not on the key ring. He was helpful. The young man who checked me in when I was done was competent, but the first thing he said to me was that this was his 4th day on the job and there was only one other employee there at the time. I would have preferred he greet me and not give me excuses about why I had to wait for him. I complemented him on how well he did his job and he seemed pleased for the encouragement.
