I'm going to give this location a 'questionable' pass because it seems as though they were moving into a new location--a great location, by the way. There was no printer to print receipts. There was no form detailing the information of the vehicle, the mileage, any scratches, etc. The attendant gave me a piece of that already had someone else's signature and date. When I pointed this out, he simply crossed out the signature and instructed me to signI understand that where the vehicles are parked is safe; however, it's not practical for someone who might not be able to pull the vehicle out properly. When I returned the vehicle, the attendant asked me to park it where I got it from. Unfortunately, I told him that I couldn't park it. My opinion is that the vehicle should be brought out to the parking lot, by the attendant, for customers and customers should not have to return the vehicle from where it was taken. Professionalism is required. I think they can be improved with help. It's a good location, at a major intersection, which makes it ideal for pick-ups and drop-offs.vahan A.

If a person books a certain vehicle, it should be available. I rented the cargo van and for whatever reason it wasn't available. I waited 20 mins into my time until they gave me another one. They ended up giving me a vehicle twice it's size which I wasn't happy about. I deliberately rented the cargo van because I only had to transport a sofa and a work out cage. Not to mention the gas. The gas was eaten at a faster rate. A smaller one had just been returned but they refused to give it to me because someone else had rented it. Then they asked me to come back an hour earlier than what I had rented it for a certain amount of time. They were far more concerned in ensuring no one else's rental was affected but they felt my rental didn't really matter. I won't be renting a uhaul anytime soon.Theresa T.

The truck renter was very unprofessional. Moreover, I had to go to far away location from the initial location where I booked which caused a lot of inconvienece and more money to me. The truck was making s lot of noise and the gear was not shifting easily many times. Very bad experience.Rajendra B.
Booked for a van from a location near me; U-Haul CSR called and said the truck I wanted was not available and suggested a can to be picked from 2525 Pharmacy at 10am on the 1st of May. I arrived at 10am to pick up the van and the van was not available. My booking was from 10am to 4 pm (6 hours). By 1030 the van was not available whilst I was patiently turning to impatiently waiting. Your agent only came out and told me an alternate truck would he available at 11. Truck arrived at 1120 only for me to get it at 1130. Upon getting the truck at 1130 , I was told to return it at 4 after I had left (4.5 hours duration) which is 1.5 hours shy from my required time. I feel short changed, pressured and not getting quality service and value for money. It was after waiting for 45mins I started going through the Google review for the same premise; I am baffled as to why U-Haul still has this location operational based on the complains regarding quality of service, communications and equipment and truck availabilityNelson K.

I booked a 10 feet truck 20 days before the date, at the appointed time when I was on my way to pickup truck at 2525 Pharmacy Ave, Scarborough, they called me we only have VAN!!! I got so angry as the person on charge disconnected the phone several times at the morning on me. It was an awful experience with Uhaul and I never forgive them. I had booked elevator and moving Labor and it caused me lots of loss, as I couldn't move my furniture because the truck was small.Ehsan P.

The vehicles was out of shape , it had a engine warning light on, the person who is handling this place is not at all helping and just want to somehow get us into paying more or try to make a fool out of us. When I got the truck it was filled with show and I had to force him to clean it up as he wanted to leave as soon as he gave the keys . He kept saying everything is good right and just wanted to leave . He didn't tell me how to operate the truck or show me what is in the back or anything . When he just left I started taking pictures and I noticed that there was lot of garbage in the back. Since he left and me thinking it's all his stuff , I proceeded with using the truck to get my package and I returned it the same condition without taking anything because I was afraid he might think I am stealing. I took a video of the whole thing just to show that I have returned everything in the same condition. Today 15 feb 2021, he calls me and tells me that I left all that garbage and wants me to clean it up. I never had such a horrible experience. I never had another U-Haul experience like this . This person was knew all this stuff and he was tricking me into something I didn't know. Just terrible , I hope no one goes to this person ever againAdith S.
