Guy said he didnâ€™t have a truck I told him I had one reserved and he said no I didnâ€™t he we inside and after going back and forth let me have the one I had reserved already online with another uhaul place 10 miles away! Then after I start down the interstate about 20 miles in the rain the windshield wiper fell off I had to stop and buy one
I had booked the trailer rental through the 800 number because I couldnâ€™t get the online booking to work. We have a 2008 Mercedes GL320 CDI Which is rated to pull 7500 lbs. we were towing a 1930 Chevrolet. Because our car was anâ€SUVâ€ the proprietor at the location (3 hour drive) said he could not rent us the trailer, but he would rent us a truck to pull the trailer. We reluctantly agreed but then our 1930 Chevrolet to be towed (2200 lbs) wasnâ€™t in his data base, so he couldnâ€™t even do that. I called back the 800 number. We had been over all the details several days before. She looked at our contract and approved both our GL to tow and the Chevrolet to be towed. Two hours later the proprietor hooked us up and we had a great trip home!

Cramped parking space, and the attendant offered no further assistance other than, "back it in beside the other one." The check in was pretty quick, and GPS found the place without issue.

Told me I would get $40 back if I turned truck in day early, which was not the case. Truck was beat to hell, needed tires, no AC and radio barely worked.

The only negative was that we had to travel 16 miles further to pick up the truck and another 16 miles further to return it. U haul did reduce our price per mile to make up for this but it just doesn't quite do that. Paying for miles not needed and after moving you are exhausted so returning an additional 16 miles and driving back after moving is very unacceptable.

Garage owner was not there for pickup. He sent over an employee that was going to make me wait 2hrs just so he could do other work because customer was there first even though I had an appointment to pick up tow dolly. I will never use again!! Employee was veryyy rude after speaking with owner on phone he did contract and everything and asked to speak with employee and in front of my kids the employee said " f*** him I'm not talk to him(the owner)" told owner wheat he said and owner just laughed. Not cool cussing in front on my kids they are supposed to be professionals!!!!

Terrible experience, originally was supposed to pick up in greenville, nc...well they didnt have any AFTER they told me they did and made my reservation(like a week in advance), so they told me to go to goldsboro....i did and they didnt have any either after they said they did!! How can a company be so scattered brained about where their trucks are, and why would they just lie about it?? I swear if i can find another reasonable priced "move-it-yourself" company i will FOR SURE use them over u-haul. Good day ??

There was a foul odor that was accompanied by an abundance of roaches in the rear of the vehicle. Delaying the process by 6 hours as I dealt with the bugs in the rear of the truck. The owner also charged for an upgrade from utility dolly to appliance dolly (he lacked the appropriate dolly). Then he failed to provide a dolly with the truck at all once more delaying the process (the store was closed and thus we could not return to remedy the situation). I am absolutely appalled at the horrendous service provided and feel that if this is the standard being held by your company, I would rather not use your services again!

Make sure the right equipment is available when picking up. I had to go to another location to get a auto transport for my van when I put the type of vehicle i was pulling they should have link it to the right equipment.

I was given an email and text to pick up at a location which was close by.When i got there,it was not open.I called the number posted and the owner told me he would be there in 15-20 minutes.Then 10 minutes later he calls me and says my reservation was changed to another location.I had to travel out of my way there and the guy there had an attitude.I asked about the $50 given back for reservation issues as stated on the uhaul sign on his desk and he acted like he had no clue.Very disappointed i was not told my reservation location was changed.Unprofessional.

1. Representative should answer phone. I phone many times prior to arriving, because the directions to the place was vague. Good thing I'm always early. 2. Representative should acknowledge customers,which he appeared as though he'd rather not be there, although it was a holiday weekend, customer service should be professional. 3. There should be signs that shows it a u-haul affiliate. 4. Get new management to represent U-haul affiliates at this place.

I had my location for pick up changed twice (once to a place thirty minutes away from the original place!), and the size of the truck changed without notice. This place was great about working with me, but your online program could use a lot of work! I was really disappointed with the whole process.
