My drop off was scheduled for 10 AM office didn't open till 10:30 AM.

Actually this really wasn't about the place, my uhaul experience was absolutely horribly stressful! After being told 2 days before pickup that they didn't have a one way van for us in Tracy we were sent to Stockton to pick up. Pickup was supposed to be 10am when they opened and the night before we were notified the mirror was broken and needed to be repaired. Throughout the day the guy at the Stockton facility did his best to get it fixed...long stressful story short we finally were able to pick up at 2:00! While driving to get the van the poor furniture store guy told us our reservation had been cancelled because we didn't pick it up at 10am! Luckily after pleading with him to hold it for us we finally got it. I will look into another rental facility next time. If I had been told there was no one way rental when I reserved the truck I would have been fine with that and would have made other arrangements. I felt really bad for the guy at the Stockton facility for being put in such an awkward poition!

The only problem was locating a trailer within 50 miles of Copperopolis.. U-Haul needs to invest into more covered trailers. The Merced location promised a trailer then three days later canceled this location and offered a trailer two hours away. They broke the contract. Thank goodness Stockton saved the day.

Make sure equipment is maintained like the a/c which was NOT working. To make matters worse it was 103 degrees in Sacramento that day so when I turned the a/c on I thought it was taking a while to cool down but it never did

The back wasn't cleaned out. I reserved my truck a week out. And the day before my pick up, I was called and they told me the closest truck they had was 30 miles away way out of my way. Very inconvenient. I had the reservation and the confirmation. There's an expectation that when you reserve something, it will be reserved and you won't be cancelled or rearranged on in the last minute.

There is nothing you can do to make me a return customer. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a Uhaul before. A filthy cab with bad breaks, no a/c, no dolly to use in the back of the cab, over charged and over priced, and the fact that i had an appointment and I had to wait for 45 minutes to get my rental. This is the worst youve ever done and frankly, if I dont get some sort of response soon i will go to social media and let everyone know just how bad this experience really was. This is by far the worst U-haul ever. And it wasn't even a real U-haul dealership. It was a man who sold furniture and clothing in a shady looking buidling.
