The truck operated fine, but did have 124,000+ miles on it, and the steering was getting loose. I'd recommend that you retire them before they get that much mileage and wear on them.

U-Haul needs to install lifts on the heavier trailers (6x12) those are so heavy to get loaded and unloaded, especially when you are returning your equipment after hours. I have rented this unit 2 times in the last month and both times my back hurts for days. I understand I could wait for the store to be open but I have to work. Just a consumer request that is not unreasonable.

Personnel were not helpful and had no idea what I was talking about and they were rude. I would NOT recommend them at all.

Trailer had light connection but was not long enough to attach to truck. We had to purchase an extension to attach it to the truck.

Booked the 17 ft I-town truck only to be told a few days later that Uhaul bumped me from that reservation. Had to get a 20ft, for a ridiculous amount. Asked for 2 days, 30 miles (asked for 20 but was quoted for 30), a dolly, and safe move for 179 bucks up front. Tried charging me for a 3rd day. Between Uhaul and Sullys I am disappointed. Used to go there all the time, not anymore. Screwed a repeat customer out of his reservation and jacked up the price and TRIED over charging for an extra day which did not happen.

Our trailer was not properly inspected by the personnel before they signed off on it. In fact, it wasn't even hooked up before they deemed it road worthy. Luckily, we checked the lights before we left because there was a short in the trailer lights and none of the turn signals, brake lights, etc were working. We were told there was nothing they could do to address the problem and were presented with no solution by the workers. Being a tractor mechanic, my husband was able to find the problem (a broken ground) and fix it himself in their parking lot.

They got it right.

I was understanding that I had the truck for 24 hours and thought that was the rental I received. The next morning I received a phone call stating they needed the truck back before 9 am. It was my understanding that I had the truck until 1pm. The sales person I dealt with needs to make sure to not confuse customers with the 24 hour option but then only give them the 6 hour option.
