So much was wrong with the whole experience. I'm not sure there is enough room to type it all.

I used the website to reserve a truck and appliance dolly and also ordered moving supplies one week before I needed them. On the day of pickup, there were many mistakes and problems and the attitude of one employee was a surly, rude “not my problem”. Upon arriving at U-Haul, I was surprised to discover that not only was my reserved truck and dolly not available but they were also requiring us to return the truck by 4:30 which only gave us 3 hours to move. I had reserved the truck for 24 hours. My order for moving supplies was also messed up, lost and missing. I don’t know if the problems are a website, corporate issue or a local site issue but I was very dissatisfied with the unhelpfulness of the one employee. I will say that the manager did take over for him and corrected our issues in a satisfactory manner but the fact that we lost so much time in our busy day, were treated like it was our fault, and the ineptitude of one employee (Cristian Quitian) made our experience with U-Haul a terrible one. I’m not sure I will be using U-Haul again.

Recommend wider steps for entering and exiting the van. Found it difficult for myself. Other than that the van met my needs.

The trailer was the biggest piece of crap I have ever used. It was very dangerous. It wouldn’t go over 50 without swaying back and forth violently. I’ve moved many times with the Air Force and it actually scared me.

The system was down and delayed my move 45 minutes. Paper contracts should be an option. The line was huge. A hard copy backup plan is a must. I reserved my truck for 6 hours but lost over 30 minutes because the system was down.

There was no knob on the lights so I had a hard time finding it. Everything else was fine.

Great job explaining the do's and don'ts. Keep up the good work & thank you for making my trip to Denver from Tucson much less traumatic. The hitch was good & the drive was smooth. I learned the hard way that the wheel turns the opposite way when backing up...but it's all good.
