I dropped on a Saturday when they were closed. Tried to use the 24/7 drop through the website. It could not find my location yet all my other apps know exactly where I was. Called U-haul customer service and spoke with James. Had to hold for 20 minutes to find out I needed to call 24/7 truck share line. Was transferred to this line and immediately got message they were closed to leave a message. I needed help as to what to do since Uhaul corporate system wasn't working. Still haven't gotten a call back. You have major issues with your corporate systems and customer service. The locations are good with good people and I have rented alot from Uhaul over the last several years. I see the steady decline in the customer experience. I will pay more to rent from someone else whenever possible.NOLEN S.

received no help from employees and equipment was in poor condition. initially made the reservation in columbus MS weeks prior. the day before my reservation i was told they did not have an auto transport for me and i would have to drive to vernon. very poor service overall and i will not be using u-haul in the future had no problems with the shalimar location.thomas C.
rented trailer with 26 foot truck was just given the keys and told where the truck and trailer was. Had to hook up trailer by myself, he didn't want to come out and look at damage on truck before I left. He did how every explain the little x's on the areas I was looking atjoe R.

This rental experience was terrible. When I made the reservation, I picked the truck size we needed and the reservation said I could pick it up at Guin, which was only 10 minutes from Winfield. Great! I then received my confirmation which said I had to pick the truck up in Vernon. Keep in mind no one ever notified me of this change and if I had not read the confirmation carefully, I would not have known. Vernon is approximately 30 miles from the moving location. I called customer service about this thinking it was a mix up. The person at customer service said that was the closest place that had the size truck I needed. I asked if it could be delivered to the Guin location and she informed me, "That is not how we do things". When I arrive at Taylor Auto, in Vernon, to pick up the truck, it took the employee thirty minutes to complete whatever he had to put into the computer system. He asked about the appliance dolly I had reserved. I told yes, I reserved an appliance dolly. He then informs that he did not have one. I explained it was supposed to be reserved and he said "well, I don't have one, you can take that regular dolly over there or you can check with other U-Haul places to see if they have one. As anyone who has ever moved knows, moving day is not the day to try to round up equipment that was supposed to be reserved. The employer at Taylor Auto then could not find the location in the computer that is on my reservation to return the truck, so he changes it. He obviously did not know how to use the computer system, or he would have been able to find the return location that was on my reservation. The next problem was when we got in the truck to drive it, one tire rem was bent, the truck itself did not sit on the frame correctly. It looked like the truck was being driven side ways down the road. My father, who drove the truck, is a retired professional truck driver. If not for his experience, there is no way this truck could have been driving the six hours to Loxley, Alabama. That truck needs to be serviced or junked. The next problem came when the helpers we reserved to load the truck did not show up. I spoke with Lonnie from Professional Moving multiple times before moving day. That morning about 9:00 a.m. Lonnie called to say they would have to put off the moving time from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. because of thunderstorms. I told him it was raining but no thunder. He said he would start the guys my way, and then see how the weather was when they arrived. At 10:30, I called him back to tell him the workers had never arrived. He said he would call them to see where they were. He never called back, and in fact when I tried to call him back he would never answer the phone. I contacted U-Haul Customer Service about the problem. She tried to call him also, but he would not answer the phone for her either. She then found another moving company that had workers available. They had to come out of Birmingham so she told me it would be approximately anCarol B.

It was very difficult attaching trailer to my vehicle since there is no jack on the trailer. I can't understand why U-haul would not have tongue jacks. 6x12 is heavy!Don M.
The 15 foot truck I reserved 2 weeks ahead of time was not there like I was told it would be. Uhaul switched my reservation to a 36 foot truck in another town. Had to settle for a 10 foot truck at the original pickup site. I will never use U haul again.Lynn G.
