Business was closed when I arrived for drop off. I locked the vehicle and used the key drop off box. The parking lot was in disarray with vehicles parked everywhere including old abandoned cars. Not very professional.

The staff was outstanding and very efficient in handling my situation! Great job and thanks again, as a new member in the Vero Beach community I am pleased and happy! Geoff Vallone

At the location I rent from I don't know how you can possibly make the service any better.

Nothing. Equipment was available as requested and received excellent service from Michele. Would recommend without reservation.

Michelle is terrific in getting the trucks "out the door" and the customers informed about their use. This is my second recent rental from this location.

First, the charges were more than what Uhaul's representative quoted me. Then the mileage out was corrected at the pickup location, but never corrected on the final bill, so I was over charged. Then the mileage rate, which was more than quoted, was larger due to the wrong mileage. Then I was charged for "SafeMove", which I was never informed there was any charge for; I was simply told "sign here and initial there". A reputable dealer would have asked if I wanted it and quoted me the charges. Then the fuel charges were excessive, since there were no gas stations open with gas because of the hurricane. I had asked what the gas mileage rate was for the truck I was renting, and was told it was 10 miles per gallon. So I was charged more than what was possible for the miles I drove; which was from the pickup location to my home and then from my home back to the pickup location. In addition, I was never quoted a rental tax. All I was quoted was $29.95 per day, $0.79 per mile, and a $5.00 fee; nothing more. I also checked Google maps to confirm the distance from my home to the pickup/dropoff location and it was, just as I thought, 8.5 miles. It was a not raining when I picked up the truck and drove home and parked the truck. I loaded the truck only when it was either not raining, or only drizzeling. Whenever I left the truck I always shut the door and confirmed it was completely closed. After the storm passed, I unloaded the truck and found that boxes that were packed at the front were wet the bottoms, but none of the boxes that were in the back and closest to the door were not wet at all. Since the truck was never driven except to and from the pickup/dropoff location, the water coming in had to come from a leak in the wall joints of the truck. One of the boxes that got wet contained treasured books, and they were damaged due to the water intrusion. I called Uhaul to speak with a customer service representative, but all I got was a recorded message. So I sent an email to them and to this day, I have not received a reply. The amount that was billed to my credit card was likely TWICE what it should have been if Uhaul was a reputable dealer. I will contact them to have them correct the bill, if anyone will respond.

Lady who checked me out and in was outstanding. Knew her business and did it efficiently, helpfully and pleasantly.

Terrible customer service and very rude.

I've used this drop off location twice but only as a mater of convenience. Each time I've been there I'm reminded of the sitcom of the 70's, "Sanford and Sons". The yard is always filled with junked cars and just trashy looking. The employees could use a lesson in customer relations by at the least saying hello may I help you! I'll not use that location again...

Nobody checks the lights on pickup. When I came home I recognized that non of the lights were working. Because the location was already closed, I had to do a self repair to get on the road. I found that the ground wire was cut, the contacts corroded and the rear pass side light was not working. I fixed the ground, cleaned the contacts and put a spare flashlight with duct tape on the passenger side. So I finally had my lights for the trip. Annoying and time consuming. I expected a better service from Uhaul !!!!!! The lady gave me a lousy a 10% discount. Not a nice experience. Thanks for reading R G
