Carbondale was excelant but here in Watertown i got bitched at and threatened on the phone. I canceled my credit card because he threatened to charge me for the customer loss he had lined up on Sunday. I asked in Carbondale if it was ok to have it back by Monday since i was handicaped and could only do so much in a day. He said no problem. Also when i dropped it off he said nothing about the deposit. I assume they will be sending me my 100 dollars.

Trailer floor was very unlevel kept flexing. Couldnt easily slide items front to back, as would catch on next section of floor. Either several fasteners are missing or something. Have rented and or used several of these trailers in the past and never had one this messed up before.

Totally not satisfied, picked up the U-Haul went around 7 miles total and put approximately $20 in gas to build the rental my concern is if it was already full why did it cost me $20 to fill it.

Worried if I'd be able to lift the trailer, but Jake put it on and took it off my truck. So I was able to use the trailer. Appreciated that!

Fast and friendly check-out. All equipment and supplies were ready, just as requested in my reservation. Truck ran well. Lots of space to park upon return. Appreciate opportunity for late-night return and key drop-off. Will definitely use this location again when I need to rent a truck.

I was glad they have a Dropbox for the key so it didn't matter when we dropped it off.

Jake from Jake's Bait Shop was very easy to work with and we were very pleased with the availability and convenience of the rental truck service. I would definitely use U-Haul again for any moving needs.

Jakes is great as usual. U-Haul as a company sucks. I had a big schedule glitch thanks to U-Haul which cauased me to use a smaller truck and more miles.

when I was online trying to reserve my truck i was under the impression i had signed up for extended mileage,( kinda like 100 free miles) but instead was charged for aprox. 200 miles. then when I returned the truck the man was busy and asked me are you returning the truck. i said yes and he said ok you're good to go. so i gave him the keys and left, later that evening i noticed a charge for 39.47 from uhaul with no explanation, i immediately called them back with no answer. I was really upset and will no longer be using Uhaul for any moving we have to do in the future. Thank you, Tom Szewczyk 920-392-9144

I've heard many good comments about the people at Jake's Bait Shop. Unfortunately, I dropped off the truck on a Saturday night when they were closed, but found the lot to be well-lit, with adequate space to park the truck. The drop box for the key was easily found. I received a confirmation email on Monday morning, verifying the correct mileage, gas fill and equipment return. They handled the return honestly and efficiently.

All was good with the equipment and the service was top notch!

Jake's Bait shop was fine, and the gentleman behind the counter was pleasant and efficient. My complaint actually lies with where my rental was supposed to start, 600 W. Washington in Madison, WI. The day before I was to pick up my van, "Michelle" called to tell me that my van would not be there on Sunday. She had 2 choices for me: 1. travel before noon that morning (Saturday) 20 miles away and pick it up, or 2: travel 50 min east before 3p on Sunday to pick it up. Now its Saturday morning, 8am, and I'm about to have breakfast w/ my family and then see my daughter graduate UW at noon, so option 1 is out, and I'm forced to take option 2, or Michelle is happy to cancel the whole thing. When I asked for the vehicle to brought in for me, she tells me UHaul doesn't hire drivers. I know this is BS, but she doesn't care, and carries on knowing she's getting paid no matter what happens here. She tells me that this is a busy weekend, which I knew because we wanted to move our daughter from school, and which is why I made a RESERVATION. She also tells me that I won't get charged for the additional mileage, but has nothing for my 2 hrs (roundtrip) that I'll never get back, never mind the additional gas costs incurred. Oh yeah, I get a 10' truck after making this side trip, when I had reserved a moving van. I was so pissed. And Michelle didn't give a damn. So I had to make the trip, lose 2 hrs, and pay an extra $15 in gas. And no one from Haul will probably do anything about it. Hey, you guys asked how I felt...
