There was a homeless man in the truck when i opened it at my house.

Got pulled over by a cop at night because the trucks back lights werent working. Also the dash light was out so i couldnt see how fast i was going. Lost valuable time because i couldnt drive at night. Ended up bringing the truck back 8 hours late because of the time lost. I deserve a refund ( $40 ) for the extra charges i was given because of the late drop off. Could not use the truck at night. Aaron Rood

The truck's tire slot kills the space inside. Moreover, the staff did not take the pain to come out during the inspection. We had to request them to come out. The truck was too old.

Grace was extremely helpful and pleasant to converse with. She was very knowledgeable and friendly.

When I called the 800 number to find out what location to drop off the trailer, there was rap music playing extremely loud in the background. Not very professional.

Not over charge! In the app I Chose NOT to buy the insurance coverage. During the advance check out I chose NOT to buy the insurance coverage. When I picked up the trailer I told the staff that I did not want the insurance coverage. I signed the insurance waver but when I dropped off the trailer I was charged the extra for the insurance. Beware and always double check the final amount!!!!

I had a pleasant experience with uhaul. The young man that works there was very helpful and informative. He was the reason I went with Uhaul because of his excellent customer service. I will go there again.

I had no issues with the location itself or the equipment, my one issue was that I put in a zip code and selected a location less than a mile from my house off of Howe Ave. when I booked the reservation my pick up location was inexplicably in Wes Sacramento which is around 8 miles further. Not crazy far but I’m just a little confused as to why I had to go to west Sac, because the zip code lookup showed a location much closer (which is why I chose it in the first place.) all else being equal, the price and equipment is all identical so pickup location convenience is a primary reason for selection of a location.

I had a great experience previously at this location so I specifically chose it again. The employees were once again delightful and efficient. My complaint is that they gave me a truck with 7/8 of a tank of gas. She explained that they have a chart that indicates how many gallons I need to add to bring it back to 7/8 after my use depending on where the gauge is at the time. The chart is actually really specific to the tenth of a gallon and my gauge read less than 3/4 so I added the stated 3.3 gallons then turn the key on to check the gauge. It stopped just shy of 7/8, enough that I thought I would be charged for it. So I added a half gallon or so but the gauge didn't move. So I added more (twice) ultimately stopping at 5.5 gallons even though it still didn't register the full 7/8 but I came to realize that it wasn't going to move any more. Of course, once I started driving, the gauge did move up more to almost full. So they got an extra 2 gallons out of me and of course didn't credit me anything. This is a scam!! I know they charged someone $5 per gallon for the shortage but they probably quickly realized that every renter afterwards will add just a bit more each time to not chance having to pay. This location is less than a block away from a gas station so they easily could have topped it off so they must have a reason for leaving it low. Well, THAT'S the reason! When I complained the young woman was understanding but she shifted her eyes around a lot and refused to do anything about it, it was apparent she had heard this before. I don't know this is a UHaul scam or just this location but in the future I will never rent from here specifically and ALWAYS insist on a full tank when I make the reservation and again at pick up. You've been warned.

I rented 5 bags of moving blankets I returned with 2 unopened bags. When I asked about refund for unopened items the lady wasn't the nicest stating, "Nope once dispatched its non-refundable". The gentleman that assisted in the AM, great guy! Maybe he could teach her a thing or two (just a thought). Guess I'll be looking at Budget for my next time (all over $20 ). By the way I average 3-4 times yr rental and now I'm starting to think "buckle and dime", which is not cool! P.S. I'm pretty sure you guys don't give a damn but if you i guess I'll hear from ya.

I ordered a 4x8 utility trailer online and was told to pick up at watt ave which is close by. I ended up having to drive 20 miles out of the way to West Sacramento. Had to drop off same place!!! Really annoyed.

Uhaul is a big disspointment! Drove 6 hours from LA to Sacramento. Uhaul truck was booked, paid for and all paperwork done on line in advance. We had to be jerked around to four different locations from west to east Sacramento wasting 2 hours of our moving time to finally get a truck. Never again! I want my money back. Not only that, we wasted so mcuh time, energy, nerves, extra mileage and gas and at the end had to pay extra for going over a few miles and filling up the gas on the Uhaul truck. What about us? Who will reimburse us for the anxiety, wasted time and all that we had to go through? It was just me and my young daughter and even your customer service wasnt helpful! Horrible experience but I would feel bad giving these two locations a bad rating as its the fault of UHAUL Corporation for making this so difficult and this whole experience is just wrong.

I have rented from this site twice before in previous years. It was always a bad experience. Slow, uncaring and disorganized. Yesterday was a completely 180. Fast, organized and made sure i got in and out quickly, even though it was a bit busy first thing in the morning. Very pleasantly surprised with the turnaround.
