While we were on our way to WIngdale Automotive at the end of the work day, I got a text announcing that the drop off location had changed and that it was 3 towns away in Pawling NY. We were 5 minutes away from Wingdale when that happened! I called UHaul and insisted that the drop-off location remain in Wingdale. A wonderful person named Jamie agreed to straighten things out and we went on to Wingdale Automotive, where they were very helpful and friendly. It is my hope that UHaul will stop making these last minute changes.Theodora S.

The location handled things just fine. However, Uhaul itself could improve. It took me 90 minutes to get the rental through. The reservation was made previously but it wasn't until the end of paperwork that a notification the account was flagged popped up. The hold time to resolve the issue was excessive. And once the issue was resolved (which was an error on Uhauls side) it still didn't clear the transaction so it took more time. The facility handled the situation as best as they could. I will give serious consideration to using companies besides Uhaul though. Resolving a flag on the account should have been a smoother, faster process or should have popped up the evening the reservation was made.Jaime B.

Everything was great! So i get there, probably 30 minutes after closing time, and thank god the guy was still there! Thank you Lord Jesus, bc i did not know how to work this u-haul app thing that you're supposed to do when dropping off the truck. This guy was so nice & very polite & said he'd take care of everything, so I didn't have to do it, thank you lord Jesus! He looked tired, but i understand, (long day), but he still took the time to take care of me & handle everything. All i had to do was leave the key & that's it. My drop off was 5 minutes from my new place which was perfect! Thank you!!!jadviga I.

The garage where we were scheduled to pick up the truck didn't open at the time that was advertised and we had to wait for almost an hour. Then they charged me for 2 dolley's and moving pads that I did not rent. When I called to correct the bill, I was told they would credit the bill and send me the corrected invoice. I never received a corrected invoice so 3 days later my boyfriend called the garage where we rented the truck and was told he had to call U-haul directly to correct the bill. He did so. and the woman he spoke with only credited the $54 and not the tax I had been charged. He had to explain to her that the tax should be credited as well, and was forced to argue the point. The U-haul representative then offered a $25 voucher for â€œnext timeâ€, to which he told her there wouldn't be a next time, and she should also credit my account for that amount. She agreed to do so but did not do it. I received an email with a coupon...that I don't want, as I will not be using U-haul for any services again. It was an all around bad experience with even worse service.Deborah R.
