Seems like to much info to give when renting from UHAUL. I like UHAUL but they could make the process a little easier. Especially when I have rented before. Just remember me from the last time I rented and it would be smoother. Just think UHAUL.

There were no negative issuse. The building looked like an abandoned warehouse. It would be a little uninviting to some.

We were supposed to pick up at 8:30 am when the place opened. Employee (a 79 year old man) showed up at 8:50. He couldn't work computer properly, so my husband had to do all that. He also had to get the appliance dolly we ordered and place on truck. The rim on one wheel was bent but truck drove OK. Inside of truck wasn't dirty, but not clean either. Employee couldn't give us drop off location. Told us to take "anywhere close." Said we are moving and storage and know nothing about UHaul.

This was the most horrible experience with a truck rental we have ever had. I completed the express check in online, including paying for the truck. The little old man who was trying to check us in was unable to use the computer effectively and after a half dozen different phone calls he then tried to print our contract - to no avail. He gave us the key after spending on hour putzing with the computer. We go out and get in the truck only to find there was only a quarter of a tank of gas. I took a picture and went back to show the clerk. The paperwork with the key said there was 3/8 of a tank. No. There was not. We left with the truck without opening the door. Bad move. When we got to the house and opened the door to start loading we found the floor dirty and littered with trash. Once we were loaded, we tried to close the door only to find the cables were off the spindles - all tangled up - and the door WOULD NOT CLOSE. Called U-Haul. It took two hours for someone to come and all he could do was take the cable off. Which meant we had to man-handle the door open and closed. From start to finish this was a nightmare move - thanks to U-Haul's ineptitude.

On this occasion the tow dolly was clean but the wiring for the lights was a bit damaged and the right side light wasn't working. Other than this friendly and helpful service.
