When I toke the van, the fuel tank was half, when I returned, I made it half too, but while they checked, they tole its not half and they charged me 6$, which was not fair. I drove the van 81 mile and I put more than 4 gallon gas.

So three months after I completed my move I was charged for extra stuff more than $60. I think this is completely unacceptable and irresponsible by this uhaul agent. It really tarnishes the brand.. I won't be using uhaul again.

The moving company experience thru U-Haul was a nightmare. The movers themselves were excellent but the user interface was impossible to maneuver on an iPhone. We called and it took over 45 MINUTES for them to answer the phone to assist us in making payment. HORRIBLE!!

Misleading regarding the fuel amount, argumentative, ignored us when we first went in, because we were getting a U-Haul vehicle, not computer parts or repair

The vehicle cabin was pretty dirty, which I took video. The locations doors did not work (broken hydraulic doors). It was a cluttered IT shop with computers/printers/copiers strewn all over the floor. The staff was not particularly friendly but did process quickly.. Other than that the experience was fine, in and out in 15 minutes, returned the vehicle fine. White glove service no, but prompt and fast, yes. I am okay with that, but I would not recommend location to certain people.

Really Great service and professional staff! Only one recommendation: I recommend that the staff inspect the Vans / Trucks with the customer present when returned to validate there was no damage, log the miles and the gas (same a all car rental agencies). Other than that, this is the best place to rent a U-Haul in the Alexandria / Mount Vernon area.

The drop off location in Alexandria Virginia was not satisfactory, desk attendant was rude, and unprofessional. Plus he charged me 37 dollars for damages to shipping blankets. Therw was no damage to the shipping blankets but I do admit they were wet, but they were wet only because it snowed from Houston All the Way to Virginia and the blankets got snowed on while loading and unloading.. The attendant at the drop of location yelled at me that he had no control over me being charge for the wet blankets, but I have no control over the weather either I feel i should be refunded for damages that didnt incur there were no rips, no tares, no snares to any of the blankets. The were merely wet, due to the unexpected snowfall from Houston to Virginia.. Hopefully this event doesnt smear uhauls good image and reputation wit as I am a frequent repeat customer.. I may be contacted at 225-716-0657 for any other questions. I will be contacting customer service on tomorrow to try and rectify this situation.. No refund due to and Act of God,= New Penske Customer.. its just dat simple... Thanks In Advance.... Yours Truly.. M.T. Stewart..

You can do away with your mobile pick up. In your attempt to simplify and become more efficient, which really is a way for you to rent more vehicles and hire less humans to make more money, you have actually managed to come up with a system that is impersonal, dysfunctional, frustrating and more time consuming. When I attempted to use this process, I was told by customer service that I did not need to establish an account. Turns out, your site requires this. Then when I set up a password for my account, it was never recognised by your site so the entire mobile check in was a failure. Fortunately the guy in the computer store was able to set me up the old fashion way...on his laptop. Returning the vehicle was the same experience except this time the store was closed so I left the vehicle and keys with a note. Turns out, everything was fine. Seems the whole returning process is unnecessary cause except for a huge mistake of being double charged almost 3 times what my bill was, the vehicle was fine. So now, I'm waiting for an email for my refund. It's been 3 business days and nothing yet. I will call again today. Know this...I will always choose Budget or a local company from now on. You guys lost me. AND, yes, I'm telling all my friends.
