moving help at destination : pack and post 85 tunnel road asheville 128805 nc did not have equpment in hand to un load the truck, they left the job came back 5 hrs later unloaded the truck they as in mr brandon sikoioski 828 275 41 94 and his helper . mr beandon said he works for u haul as a conviniance he offerd to drive the truck to the drop off location 85 tunnel road pack and post as the time was getting late . i acepted his offer he and his helper drove off with the truck. as i was planing to move some of the boxes i noticed my hand truck and an two expensive antique area rugs was missing . i called mr brandon he ansewerd the phone said he will return the items but did not. susequent calls went un answerd. on 11/03/17 i went to pack mail spoke to carole she said she fired mr brandon and cannot locate him i am upset at u haul, and contractors you advised me to use . plese help me recover the items that were stolen from me by pack mail employee br brandon. respectfully mike m uybadin

1) When a customer contracts for a truck and a car dolly (or trailer or whatever) make sure the 2 pieces of equipment are in the same proximity on the lot, especially when you send the customer to (drive to) the lot several parking lots away and behind other businesses and expect the customer to drag the car dolly to the truck and hook the equipment up on tier own. 2) When your trucks are so far removed from the office, make sure they remain locked so vagrants don’t sleep in the back of the truck and scare your customer’s wife as she waits for her husband (your customer) to hook the equipment up. 3) Make sure the fuel level is where the contract says it should be, especially when you KNOW that people are siphoning off gas (as I was told when I pointed out the discrepancy) because your trucks are so far removed from the office that they can’t be monitored appropriately. 4) When your customer points out the gas level is not where the contract says it should be (truck’s gas tank was empty “0 miles to empty”), create a new pick up receipt that shows the gas tank as being EMPTY...or better yet, gas the tank up to 1/4 tank as the contract says it should be. Don’t mark through the 1/4 full reading on the pick up receipt, circle and initial that the truck’s gas tank is empty and tell your customer to have the people at the drop location call if there’s any question...especially when you know you will probably be gone by the time they get there. 5) When you send your customer out on an empty tank of gas and he’s fortunate enough to make it to a gas station, then calls back to the office to say that gas is leaking from the gas tank as fast as he pumping it, don’t tell him, “oh, they must have cut the gas line...remember I told you people were siphoning off gas?” and then ask them if they can make it back to the office. Instead, ask where your customer is located and let them know someone will be right there to assist them...or better yet, that someone will be there with a replacement truck momentarily. 6) When (if) your customer does make it back to the office and presents a receipt for $15 in gas that was pumped into the leaking gas tank before he realized it was spilling all over the concrete beneath the truck, refund the $15 immediately, without question or excuse. Don’t tell your customer to present the receipt at the drop off location and they will handle the refund. Especially when you know that is not standard operating procedure and Management at the drop off location is not prepared to handle the refund. As a final thought, I will never again trust that your website will send me to a professionally run location with a competent operator. With that said however , in case Im not asked about the service I received at the drop off location, CJ at the drop location did everything she could to help, including getting her AFM, Brandy, on the phone who, though she was apparently not obligated to do so, graciously offered to refund the $15 wasted o

I was scheduled to pick up this truck at a different location, closer to where I needed it. I went to that location and was told the truck was someplace else across town and that the records showed someone tried to contact me. No one tried to contact me and this was very inconvenient. Otherwise, the truck was great.

Had no help to hookup only one employee. I was having trouble hooking up and called them to help and was told it should work keep trying. Will not rent a uhaul from this place ever. Its a ocer cluttered pack and post. Not professional at all.

The person that helped me seemed rushed, didn't walk around the truck with me to check for any damages prior to me renting. The key was stuck in the ramp and I was in dress clothes from a funeral, the representative gave me my paperwork and told me I had to pull the ramp out for the keys. When the ramp ended up getting jammed I had to go back in and have him come out and help. I had to use a pen to maneuver the key into place where the ramp would pull out. The UHaul tag on the key was damaged. The person working there just seemed to want to do the least amount as possible. Especially as hot as it was outside I particularly didn't want to be out in in with black clothing either. The other UHaul location on Swannanoa River Rd however was extremely helpful. They didn't have the truck I needed but didn't hesitate to locate me one and reserve it.

Everything? was great except for the lady calling wanting to know when I was bringing the truck back after I had it for only about 19 hours. I replied " I rented the truck for 24 hours. Why are you calling me? I'm very busy. I'M MOVING". When my fiancee called back to complain she hung up on her...TWICE! Not professional. The male who attended to us was very nice and gracious.

This location was great. We previously went to another location and they would not talk to us until we had an online reservation. I understand everyone is going to online customer interactions but i had to drive home and reserve a truck when I was previously standing in front of a u-haul employee.

Customer service was lacking here. The transaction was brisk, and the person put the pads out on the sidewalk, with no offer to help put them in the truck. A roll of tape was priced at $9.00. Seriously? I would not rent from this location again.

The uhaul was nice, clean and worked well however it took almost an hour and a half of waiting to get the keys because the person before me never returned the keys. I understand accidents happen but this messed up my moving times since I was on a tight schedule. The service was expensive and no discount was given so it is unlikely that I would use this service again.

I can only review the drop off part of the rental as we returned this truck after hours around midnight and no one was there at this particular location. This is not a U-Haul facility per se as it is just a small store that rents the trucks. The location was dimly lit and it was hard to find the U-Haul dropbox which was flush against the side of the building. Might be a fine place to pick up a truck but can't review that. I did call the following day and the person who answered the phone was very nice and assured me that the truck was received properly. Just be aware that this is not a U-Haul facility with security or signs indicating it's a U-Haul location if you plan on dropping it off here after hours.

Don't lie to your customers. I got fucked for $12.14. That amount means nothing to me. It's the principal of the matter. You are greedy bastards and deserve to be bad-mouthed by as many people as can voice their opinions by your lousy service. I have found 12 sites on the Internet that invite people to comment on the bad service of U Haul. I intend to voice my opinion and hope they move people to look for another rental trucking company.
