There was no one at the pick-up location and no furniture pads in the truck as I had reserved. I had reserved the truck for a 5pm pick-up at a different location and was moved to this location. When U-Haul sent me an email with the new location, they failed to mention that no one would be at the location when they confirmed my 5pm pick-up. I was going to pay when I picked it up, so had no downloaded the U-Haul phone app. There was no one at the office, and the woman who runs the co-located sports academy said the man who ran the U-Haul office had left around 1pm. Because no one was there and the other U-Haul locations were already closed, I had no way of getting the needed furniture pads to complete my move the next morning. The first person I spoke with at the main U-Haul office was not at all helpful, but her supervisor was. I found the U-Haul rental experience to be most unsatisfactory and will go to another rental company next time I need a truck.

The original location I rented my trailer from never showed up for business that day (Friday at 3pm), so I was sent to another location where the Uhaul representative was already gone, so the gymnastics instructor understandably struggled to get everything taken care of before I could hook up my own trailer

I rented for Tuesday 12 and was pressed for time due to job. I rented a 15' truck and a tow dolly. I could not leave due to the tow dolly straps were torn completely off. I had to leave the next day. I was also charged for $150.00 for a tow dolly that was tuned in with 24 hours and a truck that was unable to live it up to the contract the day of hauling. I left messages to the manager and no reply. I need my pat to be adjusted.

Clean the truck completely. The rep seemed to be the only one there and left 2 truck keys in the back that did not belong to the vehicle. Was a nice man though and returned the keys right back to him. Would be nice if they were available before 9am l. This cut into my trip time. I know El Paso is lazidazical. Guess this is why I make 6 times more than the average person here. Early bird gets the worm

When I ordered the truck rental, I was not informed of mileage charges and no one calculated them in the phone to me. We picked the truck up on Saturday morning at 9am when they opened. And Dave never said he would be leaving early and never told us what to do when we returned it being he would not be there. So I go to return the truck at 1pm on the dot and I am waiting at Dave's desk for him for 10 minutes until I decided to call the # to the place as I was standing there. Samantha, the girl who works for the gymnastics studio Uhaul is runned out of there, answers the phone and tells me that Dave left for the day and she will call him to see what he wants me to do with the keys. She calls Dave and he tells her to just leave them with her. So I did. Monday morning I get a phone message from Dave who sounds nasty asking where the key is. So I call him back to tell him Samantha took it, expecting an apology and he says, "Oh I guess I will call her" and slams the phone down. By the way, I have the voice mail for proof. Literally a minute later I get a bill saying that mileage was higher (impossible) and instead of $30 or even say $50, we owe $80. $80 for going a half hour to my house, to dump(10 mins from house), to get gas on the way back to Uhaul. We did not go that many miles, no one checked the mileage when we returned it, he did not check when we picked up. He had said he did the day before. And how the hell does one leave me message demanding the key, and then a minute later email me an amount for the mileage when that time frame sounds like he scamed us. He didn't check in that time frame from leaving me the message, to me calling him back and then as I hang up within a minute I get a bill???? What kind of scam is Dave pulling out of 20 Maxine Way? And no I put in a complaint with customer service and the regional manager took it upon herself to email us a $50 certificate at which I have no use for and will never use your horrible, scaming company again. We were not moving, we went to dump to get rid of stuff. We have no use for a certificate in the future or now. But I will make sure everyone I know will find out how Uhaul is a horrible company and they do not care about what's right, what is a scam and good customer service! And I will not be bought off with a stupid certificate I can't use. Maybe regular people would just settle for being treated like garbage. But I do not and will never. But Uhaul, it's a small town with alot of people I know of. Word of mouth will get our in this military based town. Signed, Never use Uhaul again

The truck was ready for us and in good condition. We need at Uhaul an hour before the business opened and that was fine because an online pickup was offered. We reserved the Uhual for 9am. We arrived at the location and started the process online. The online process took 45 minutes to complete and we were very dissatisfied. We were still at the location when the owner arrived at 9:45. We have rented from uhual before and in person they do not need near as much info as online and it is much faster. We will most likely not be renting from Uhual again due to this bad experience.

My pick up location was changed after I booked the uhaul. This has never happened and we had to drive over 40 minutes to pick the truck up. This is after we had already gone to the selected location to pick our truck up.

Truck was horrible and unsafe. Check engine light on, super sloshy unresponsive steering heater and air-conditioning would go on randomly there was cold air blowing through the floorboard of the passenger side and the passenger side door would not close correctly even one locked and jiggled the entire trip. I would categorize vehicle as unsafe and I placed two calls to U-Haul and never received a call back. Not satisfied with your truck or your services. Thanks. Nick. NickTitan95@yahoo.com
