I tried to make a reservation with the UHaul in Winnie, Texas and was told "No need, I have plenty". I said I'd be there at 8am. He said make it 9am. Got there at 9:15 and was told, he won't be here until 11 am. Drove to Beaumont, Texas and was told we have nothing. All our units are reserved. I called UHaul and they told me there was a unit at the location I was at. I made a reservation. I went back in side and waited 30 minutes to get waited on. To be told, all our units are reserved. I made her show me, then told her that was my reservation. I'll have to be in a bind to use UHaul again.

I had rented the truck for 1 day picked it up at 11 am but was asked to return it at 9 am because there was a family waiting for it... when I dropped it off last night there were 3 other trucks that had been dropped off. So not only I didn't get the 24 hrs as stated, I alals had to ask a friend for a favor to take me there and pick me up at 9pm. Not happy with that at all, check in was good but the end customer service result was not the best I have had. I work for a national account meaning I use this system a lot but I will make sure I rent from another company from now on

The facility was clean, the guys who hooked up the trailer were very helpful and professional, However the young lady that completed the paperwork was condescending and rude, not a very pleasant to deal with.

The truck was for one way to houston i got to baytown the low fuel light came on it was after 12 midnight i didn't have money on me until i got to Houston had to sit at a gas station till some one came for me which took ovet an hour.

The turn signals on the truck are not working. Other than that my experience was great!



Staff was rude and unprofessional. Two clerks were at the desk upon initial arrival. One was on the phone asking what time "Meg was getting off work," and the other helping a customer. After his phone call was over the two proceeded to discuss how hungry they were. Finally I guess they noticed I was standing there and after asking for my receipt, the young man said ok. He then returned to his phone sending several texts messages while the young woman exclaimed, "shit I want to leave so bad." I'm honestly just relieved I didn't have my children there with me. Needless to say, I would not recommend this location to anyone. Rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional staff.

I would like to say that the checking in and out process of trucks and trailers has improved greatly over the past couple years. I used to hate to walk into a U-Haul facility because I knew it would take 30-45 minutes to get out of there. I would like to complement the company on improving this part of the business.

The guy that I spoke with inside tried to charge for me for an additional day. Where I rented from added an additional day since I could not return it on the specific time. He said at no additional charge. After that was settled he still tried to charge me for an additional day of the insurance I bought. I explained once again that everything had been paid for up front. Maybe it was a mistake in the system, IDK but I would not recommend this location because I felt uneasy with them trying to charge me additional money.
