Be sure equipment is in working order such as doors on trailers work properly and with ease. Also be sure customer gets everything they pay for such as moving pads. If it is forgotten and they call, be sure it is removed from the bill. If the customer has a problem, don’t have the system hang up on them.

The pickup I rented was horrible. Headlight switch was broken, windshield was cracked, seats were badly stained. Other than that, the truck ran fine.

I reserved the van for four hours beginning at 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning. Upon my arrival, I was told my reservation had been changed to 11:30 a.m. and I could only have the van for 1 1/2 hours. I was never notified of that change either by text, call, or email. After some discussion and explaining my frustration, it was agreed that I could pick up the van at 11:00 a.m. and keep it for the originally requested four hours. The vehicle was clean and I promptly returned it at the agreed time. I also would recommend requiring vehicles to be returned with a full tank of gas rather than relying on renters to put fuel in equal to what was in the tank upon pickup. Determining the amount of fuel necessary to equal what was spent causes additional unnecessary fuel costs on the consumer.

Consider prorating usage past 24 hours up to a certain time, then charge for full additional day if truck is not returned by end of time designated as prorated usage. I paid for 48 hours but kept truck only about 43 hours and I was asked to return it because store had an order for it before my 48 hours were ended. I didn't mind obliging the store since I was finished with the truck.

When I started my trip to Corpus Christi Sunday nite .... I had no tail lites... just brake and turn signals ... so i couldnt go .... had to call in sick for Monday and miss work ....so I had to travel to Corpus Monday morning

I had my reservation cancelled, I showed up at 8:30, I booked it for 7am. I tried to do online check in but it didn't work. They had plenty of trailers so there was no need to cancel my reservation.

my quote online was for $47 for a 5x8 trailer. When I got there it was $91. The employee tried for 10 minutes to correct the billing, but I just gave up. Next time I will take a copy of the quote with me (although I doubt this location has the ability to work the software).

I asked why I was being charged extra when I was told I had a full extra day. I was told there was nothing she could do without the manager. I asked for the manager and she said he had already gone home. I was then told she had the ability to waive the charge but she CHOSE not to. So the lie about needing a manager was exposed.

Even though I ordered days ahead, the truck I ordered was not available at the first location. I was, however, given a Confirmation Number that it would be available at the second location. It was NOT. The attendant at the second location was unable (or unwilling) to help me. A phone call (and a long wait on hold) finally located the truck at a third location. I would not recommend U-Haul to a friend.

The location was great but the trucks had mechanical issues. Now the customer service department when you book online was horrible. They never called to confirm but put it in the system that they did, I have phone records. The young lady that took my call was rude and dismissive. She made it very clear that she didn't care if I had a truck or not and that this area was ripped apart by a hurricane. Your not the only truck rental company.

When I returned a auto transport trailer,I asked the man helping how he had done during the recent flood (We are in area flooded by Harvey). He replied, he had lost everything, but thankful his family was safe. Thanks for the great customer service in difficult times.
