Blanca GDon't allow businesses that rent your trucks, to have customers wander into a junkyard with three big dogs following you and barking at you, to take pictures and fill out the pickup procedures while trying not to get bit. Also should tighten up on making sure that trucks are actually safe enough to drive before being rented to a customer. Driving a U-Haul truck with terrible steering and headlights that only brighten up enough to drive at night, every so often. Also make sure that the lever under the seats for adjusting the slide forwards and backwards, isn't super glued on or something, allowing it to come completely apart with hardly any pressure applied. Also renting a truck that comes with a lock and key should actually come with the key being that full price is being paid and are actually charged the full price of a rental and having no way to lock your items up. Also thing extra attention to all of these things so they do not cause a customer to be delayed so much so that they do not make it in time to return the truck three different times for three different reasons three different nights. Paying full price for something that should never have been rented in the first place, is really just being taken advantage of. The facility I returned the truck to was amazing in Copperfield. Everything before that was a nightmare and extremely dangerous at times. As there was zero effort made to Discount the full price after receiving less than half of what is paid for. Even with documentation of all shortcomings and issues with the barely roadworthy truck I was rented. Also would be nice if y'all made it clear the hours of drop off locations, instead of insinuating that 24/7 may be the case, causing another unwanted extra day rental. I am not someone to leave bad ratings, or really complain about anything at all. All I want is fair out of anything that is paid for, and I honestly cannot believe that the full price was taken from my account after all documentation was noted. There was also no effort to switch trucks, and ensure that the customer was driving a safe vehicle after several attempts to explain the issues and mechanical failures that were happening. Driving a big truck with electrical issues, hardly any headlights to speak of in the rain that that with windshield wipers that smeared muck causing visual difficulties, is a bit stressful. I'm definitely livid about this and would never have imagined a company like U-Haul allowing a truck and especially a returning customer to fall through the cracks and leave stressed out disappointed, and dumbfounded. And almost broke might I add, being that the truck was kept three extra days due to mechanical issues not driver error. Y'all beware
