I was called the day before to verify that the drop off time was good. When I arrived the next day the shop was closed. I used the key drop box to turn in the keys. Now I currently have late charges to my card. Very unprofessional and seems to be scam. I will be taking actions to report this and to get charges refunded.

Mr Marshall at Marshall Automotive was very polite and professional. He went out of his way to help us out (on Christmas Eve) after hours. He embodies superior customer service. The equipment had not been maintained in years, the bearings failed and the hub snapped on us. This caused a delay in our travel and a missed family get together. Shame on UHaul for not maintaining their equipment better, AND putting my family in danger by doing so.

I went to the location at 11:00 am and again at 1:00 pm to drop off the unit. No one was there, although the sign out front said "OPEN". I did receive a call later in the day for check-in.

8am reservation and site owner didn't show up until 8:20am. Told me he ran a business and had more important things to worry about than Uhaul. Stated that the trailer I rented was heavy and that he was not allowed to hook trailers up to vehicles and indicated that I was on my own in the matter. Overall very rude and non apologetic. My ccard has been authorized twice for the $203.49 rental charge for a total of $406.98 held on my ccard all weekend and I don't understand why that is. I told merchant that the trailer rental was to take toys from a toy drive to the Gatlinburg fire victims so I didn't understand why he was giving me so much grief. Horrible experience overall. Will never go back.

This location sucks i only went with it bc of the price. Its on a hill & just has a weird set up which made the move more difficult then it had to be. There was broken glass on the concrete in front of my unit which the property manager actually pointed out to me. But after several days it remains there & i now have a flat tire bc of it. You would think as PROPERTY manager it would be her job to ensure the property is a safe place but instead she is too busy worried about someone hitting her car. I have rented with public storage before at the center point location & never had any problems. But the forestdale location i absolutely do NOT recommend.

The original location I submitted for pickup was about 5 minutes away from my house: Trader Bob's Birmingham 35242. I received NO notification that my request was not going to be honored until I called Trader Bob's just to double check prior to the moving day. After some investigating, I found that uHaul had moved my pickup location to about 40 minutes away in Forestdale. This resulted in about $16 worth of extra mileage. If I had known that my original quote would not be honored because of A BAD BUSINESS MODEL on uHaul's part, I would have gone with Budget rent a car. This is seriously very remiss on uHaul's part. I would not recommend uHaul now to anyone. You guys messed up and I had to eat the cost of your tactics. You should have an online system that prevents real-time renting of equipment based on the preferred location pick up. I don't see, in this age of technology, how this is hard to do.

Owner was rude. He knew that I did not have lights and told me that I did not need them. He did not have the electrical connection and said that he did not have one. He told me to go ahead and leave. I bought one at Wal-Mart before Ieft for Florida. They told me to report his behavior.

We had to call and wake the person up who was in charges also I was charged an extra 199.38 with no explanation. We return the truck on Monday 5/30/2016 to the location in Portsmouth Va., this is where I was told to drop off the truck on June 1st 2016. I'm very dissatisfied about you all taking extra money out of my account. Please contact me and explain why the extra funds was taken when I paid in full. Hamidah Hameed 205-329-9509

Noone was even there when we arrived at 1000 for pickup. He said that he had to get a truck which was nice of him but it just took way too long. Not his fault in my opinion but poor service by uhaul to me.
