I tried to use Southide Rental for this. They were not there when I arrived, and turns out that they forgot to prepare my truck and have it ready. I ran to Switchyard Storage and they IMMEDIATELY got me a truck and apologized for the U Haul problem. They were fantastic. 10/10.

I had a problem with a tire leaking air while on the road, I called uhaul, explained where I was and the direction I was headed, in a matter of minutes they had called me back and set up a meeting point with a tire repair service, in less than an hour from the initial call I was back on the road.... The driveway is very steep and only has a tiny sign that is easy to miss until the last second. Putting up a larger sign would be a relatively easy improvement.
Anthony single handedly made our experience a positive one. He took the time to provide guidance when the truck wouldn't start. And when our Moving Help contractor (Magic Movers in Bloomington) was a no show/no call/no phone, he came over and helped my husband unload the truck. Unbelievable service. This man should be developed to run a region.
Anthony was fantastic. He helped us out with a last minute rental on a very busy day and the vehicle size we ordered was not back from its previous renter. Anthony didn't hesitate in securing us an upgraded larger vehicle, with no additional charge since we contracted for the smaller less expensive one. He thought about the clients experience first, which is rare nowadays. True professional and businessman. We will be renting from him again. Thank you Anthony!!

Friendly and helpful staff
I had the vehicle rented for multiple days and on the day I was set to return it, I was asked to bring it in multiple hours before my rental agreement was up because it was "already booked" by someone else. This altered my plans and the employee who called me about it did not seem apologetic for demanding the truck back by a different time.
I believe there is communication misunderstanding between us, but the attitude I get from here is vert disappointing. When I made the reservation on 07/31, I choose no damage protection/insurance. I tried to check in online according to the guidance, but the customer service said he was busy and will contact me later, which he never did. So the next day I went there and check in face to face. When I was about to leave, I asked if I can park my own car in the corner of parking lot, the same customer representative said yes, and added:" do you keep the insurance on the vehicle". I thought he was refering to my car in case anything happened in the parking lot, so I said yes and leave. When I returned the truck in the afternoon and received the receipt through my email(firstname.lastname@example.org), I surprisingly found there was a $14 safemove fee. I called back immediately, but the customer representative insisted that he got my affirmation for adding the insurance. I thought I might have missed some sentence in our conversation, so I said "maybe I missed something". It only occured to me an hour later that the last sentence he added to me was refering to the u-haul truck. But when we were talking over the phone about this issue, his attitude was very disappointing. He used sentences like "it is not my problem you don't understand English." And he said he will see what he can do and get back to me, which he never did again. Even though after I realized what this huge misunderstanding was and called back, he just refused to answer my call. I understand that misunderstanding can happen sometime to anyone, but this experience I got from the U-haul customer representative is very very disappointing. I hope I can hear back from you and help me solve this issue. Thank you.
