We were told to call and confirm the drop off location, which we did. It was extremely difficult to find and not well marked. We were told by another U-Haul dealer we stopped for directions where it was. No one answered the phone. The sign, printed confirmation and voice mail all had different names.

I dropped my rental off after hours. Although the process to close out my rental was easy, I was disappointed that I was charged an additional $40 as it said I dropped it off after the 24 hour rental period - the problem with this is, I picked the truck up at 1:30pm and dropped it off at 12:30pm the following day, which put me at 23 hours and not over the 24 hour period. It would be be great if that amount could be refunded.

The truck had a printed photo of someone in it and wasn't swept out, but other than that the service was good. It was trashy or anything, but wasn't super clean either.

My concerns was. This was the second location for pickup. I arrived at my first location and my truck wasn't available . So then I called the 1800 number. So they sent here. So I arrived there. And they was closed. So I called back the 1800 number. And she was trying to send me to another city to pickup my truck. Which was bigger than the one I order. So finally she told me about the 24 hour help . Which nobody explained to me before. So I drove back to this location followed all the information on the phone and I got truck. So my overall experience was not good. I had a bigger truck which cost more gas and too much time trying to figure out how to get the truck since the rental company didn't have my truck and the other place was closed. Not happy at all

Inside of truck needed sweeping to remove screws, nails and dirt. I was shorted a dozen moving blankets. Location did not have hand trucks even though it was reserved. Original location had no 20' trucks which was reserved weeks in advanced. Uhaul move me to this location and they had one 26' truck. Unable to back it in to load at my apartment which made the move more difficult due to length. They were unable to arrange a return location in NC and I had to call Uhaul and make those arrangements. Unnecessary extra work and gas money on my side.

The Man didn't give us the receipt. We Explained the Uhual truck we were hooking this dolly to was rented by our son and would not be returned in our name. He assured us we didn't need the receipt, that when ever (and where ever) the Uhaul was returned That business would simply sign the dolly back in with the ID number Painted on the Dolly. Thie Truck & Dolly were turned into your business "Showing" in SC on Sat. June 24th. The Dolly that we were told could simply be signed in by the ID number on it, well that DID NOT Happen. I spent over an Hour on the phone on Sun. June 25th (after getting a text message showing locations we could drop the dolly off at) with "Someone (your customer service phone number) Trying to get them to Locate this Dolly and see it had been returned. The Lady FINALLY (after given the Name of the business in Greenville SC) said they would reach out to the people there and tell them to shign the dolly back in at their address. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. Today JULY 11th While I was at work you sent me two emails (Which I just found) with in 5 hours of each other (Funny no one could not Put that kind of effort into getting this Dolly signed out and back in so quickly.) as well as a voice mail to my cell To tell me you had not received the Dolly back. I received that voice mail when I went to break. I called the number (As wellas had my son go straight back to the office in SC and speak directly to them) and AGAIN had to tell the person on the phone this was Supposed to have been taken care of June 25th. I had to give her my sons name (so she could locate the office where the truck and dolly were returned) She advised me she would call their manager. I left her with my work number INCASE something else went wrong. At this time my son was at the return location Also talking to someone (even though they had been told when this was all returned the Dolly was in my name and we were told they needed to sign it in with the ID, he even gave them the brief instruction paper given to us with the dolly) I have been told this has FINALLY been taken care of. We have used your company before, but we have Never had such a bad experience.

The only real issue with this location is access. One entrance is very tight and at a busy intersection. The other is steep and rough. Very good service and friendly folks.

The trailer had a dried brown "spilled" substance that was not removed from the inside back wall. The paint on the front of the trailer was also pealing, and it is obvious this has been occurring from quite some time. There was also about a yard of one of the tie down bars that was broken off of the inside of the trailer so I couldn't completely tie down all of my boxes inside the trailer. I'm not sure that these problems were due to the pick-up location, but were probably due to Uhaul not sufficiently fixing and cleaning the equipment.

Next time make sure all dents are marked when the customer picks it up so they aren't questioned at drop off. Evidently an is to be placed everywhere and I pointed it out when picking up.

The ratchet strap device that catches the strap that wraps around the front tire was old/worn/hard to get to operate. The one side was brand new. The other side was frozen up, old, and took quite awhile to get to operate. By the time I had arrived...the ratchet strap device had entirely loosened up!! No accident, thank God...but this needs replaced. I told the u-haul place on Wabash Ave, Terre Haute, IN, where I dropped of the auto transport trailer about the issue.
