A little more communication. I think I was supposed to sign some closing papers on the receipt but was not asked back into the office to do so. If the next person that rents the truck does something to it and says that was already there than it possibly could come back on us.

the employee helping us was beyond rude and disrespectful. Not everyone is an expert on policies and procedures of the company. It is an employees job to explain and educate their customers. Not belittle them. I will not be using this location in the future.

The office manager at this location was very pleasant and helpful. He was working under very warm conditions in a south facing office without any window blinds and without an air conditioner to cool the temperature of the office. I suggest that the owner of this business provide him with an air conditioner.

The guy who runs this place makes sure you know that it is a storage unit, not U-haul, and therefore refuses to think. I had a short-term rental (about 5 hours); when I left, I was quoted $137; when I returned, with fewer miles than I estimated, he said it was going to be $207. I said, no, that's wrong, and his reply was, "I just put the numbers into Uhaul, that's what this tells me, it's their system." I told him I didn't care; I had my contract; the price should not be any more than the quote I had this morning and he better contact Uhaul to get it right. So he pulled it up on his computer and "put in the numbers" and it was $40 less. He said he would be calling Uhaul, like since it was their fault, that excused the rudeness. Here's the thing: if you guys don't like each other, don't do business together. But don't abdicate your responsibility as Uhaul's representative because you don't like their system and then argue with customers without even trying to understand what's going on.

Reasonably nice. Not overly organized. After I loaded up the vehicle, heard a weird noise while driving at low speeds.. Found the hitch very loose. Had to unload vehicle, tighten down the ball connector and reload. Could have been catastrophic at freeway speeds. Trailer also had really bad squealing from the wheels/bearings. They would get a glowing review had the trailer been hitched up properly, but that's a pretty big deal..

We had a tire blowout and it was going to take 4 hours to get someone out there to fix it. I had to field repair the vehicle myself to get back on the road. Unacceptable!!!!!

Inaccurate fuel level by personnel. I refiled fuel to level I recorded upon picking up moving truck. I was charged extra for so called fuel that wasn't replenished. I feel as if I was charged for something that was an error by uhaul.

Our reservation was for a ONE WAY 20 foot box truck for at 10am on a Saturday. The cost was $120 out the door – all taxes/fees were already included. We arrived on time but were told that the truck that we were to use had not yet been returned and wasn’t actually due back until noon. The gentleman behind the counter called the other customer who told him that the truck would NOT be returned that day at all because her helpers had not shown up so she was keeping the truck another day. The gentleman behind the counter then called UHaul customer service to see if there was another 20 foot truck available – which there wasn’t. While I was waiting, I was looking at the small trailers advertised. There was one that I thought might work. The gentleman behind the counter then said the UHaul customer service lady wanted to talk with me. She said she would give me a $50 credit – which I was fine with. Then I mentioned the 16 ft trailer and she said there was one available at a different location down the road – she reserved it and we headed 5 miles down the road to the new location. We get there, go through the paperwork and then the man behind the counter asked about our trailer hitch – my husband said ‘yes, we have one.’ They talked further and we apparently did not have the right kind so the man behind the counter said we would need to BUY one from him. I asked if we could just rent it and he said no. I was annoyed and said forget it. After we got back to our truck, a 17 ft. UHAUL box truck drove in and was being returned. My husband went inside to see if we could have it. They said yes but it was NOT a one way and we would need to return it by 6pm that night. By this time it was getting close to noon but we needed to get our stuff moved so we took it. We rushed and actually returned the truck by 5pm. The truck rental was $45 with taxes/fees included but the mileage we were charged was $81.71. We had no choice but to pay it. I have called Uhaul 4 times now to request that the mileage charge be written off – I did not reserve a 17 ft return truck – I reserved a 20 foot one way truck. The first time I called (june 20th) I was told that only a manager could authorize the refund on the mileage and they would call me back within 3 business days. When no one called me, I called back (June 23rd) and was told the EXACT same thing. Today, (6/28) still no call so I called and was given a number to the manager “Larry Brown”. Surprise, the number didn’t work. I called back a 2nd time today to TRY and get someone to fix this…. Still hasn’t happened. I can’t imagine ever using UHaul for anything moving forward. The rep I talked to today said that “UHaul values you as a customer” and I had to tell her that “I REALLY do not feel valued. IF they valued me a manager would have called me by now. I definitely am not valued.” The only thing I am looking for is for them to write off the mileage charge of $81.71. I apparently need to dispute

The van was a little dirty on the cab, and smelled of cigarettes. (I don't know what can be done with that). It had a service something light... and little i. But overall, this was a good experience. Friendly staff, quick and easy service.
