Service was wonderful. Day before our big move I was admitted to the hospital. Our reservations needed to be changed ASAP . All concerns and needs were immediately addressed and accommodated in a professional manner.

I have a rental place within walking distance of my house but after that location not having what I wanted and not communicating when they said they would. Id rather drive the distance to Mannas.... great location and knowledgeable staff

I was scheduled to get the truck at a location near my home. Two days before the pick-up, U-Haul changed the location to a place several miles away. When I called the new location, the staffer advised that the location might close early! Sure enough, I got there a half hour before the posted closing time, and the place was shut down. It took two hours and two well-charged cellphones to finalize the truck pick-up.

I had no problem with Manna. Hoeever I was charged from a prior rental in April for mileage I should not havr been charged for. I was supposed to pick truck up in Bound Brook but instead they made me go to Plainfield with is 16 total difference which i was charged for. I spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service and no one would help. I was blind transferred four times and had to explain the situation each time from the beginning. Meanwhile I was paying someone to help me move which cost me more money. Denise at you customer service was of very little help and could use additional training with her customer service skills. I also think you need to empower your people to make decisions rather than wait for a manager. We were talking about a 30 dollar credit and i was renting from you again. It was completely ridiculous. The side of the van says $19.95 per day but I was charged $119 per day plus a million extra charges for a total of $185 for a van I returned after 6 hours. Unreal.

Lied about gas gauge when I picked it up, and when I dropped it off. I took pictures of the dash however so I am unsure as to why they think they can lie. I can only imagine they do this to everyone and I'm just lucky I took pictures.

While this location was acceptable, it was not the one I requested when I made the reservation. The representative I spoke to the day before pick-up said my requested location did not do one-way rentals, but it was clear when I made the reservation that I was reserving a one-way. It would have been better if your online reservation system provided this info up front.

This entire reservation was a nightmare and I will not be using UHaul in the future, even though I have been a loyal customer for many, many years. The 24/7 pickup was not properly set up. I was not assigned equipment (even though I confirmed over the phone twice) and had to wait in a dark parking lot for 45 minutes while customer service figured it out. When i finally did get my assigned vehicle, the personnel forgot to leave the key in the vehicle. The customer service representative on the phone told me that she had to cancel the reservation and schedule me for the next morning, 4/28 at 9am which was not an option for me hence my specific reservation for 4/27 at 8:30 pm and multiple confirmations. Instead, i decided to look in the other Uhaul vehicles on the lot with the expectation that someone screwed up and actually left my key in another vehicle. Of course there was a Uhaul right next to mine that was open and had a key, except it was a 15 footer instead of a 20 footer. Left with absolutely no other option, i was forced to use it. I was given an additional day and 100 miles but that did not fix the situation (basically telling me to move twice). I was forced to compromise my personal belongings and forced to lose over an hour of moving time because of this issue. Of the many things that can happen, this situation was completely AVOIDABLE. The equipment could have been properly assigned one of the several times i called to confirm over the past 5 weeks and the key could have been placed in the RIGHT VEHICLE. The equipment was there and I was there - someone failed to do their job and everything was thrown out of whack. The customer service rep tried calling the local location management and no one answered, likely because no one cared that all of my planning for months was being compromised. At no point has anyone even reached out to me to apologize or to take responsibility for failing to properly honor my reservation. You managed to charge my credit card immediately though - shows me where your priorities are. I have likely damaged some of my packed items and some of my furniture that i had to stack because of the lack of space. I unfortunately don't know the status of my belongings, but i know i will never use UHaul again and will do my best to tell others to do the same.

Web site sucks. Don’t let me make a reservation in a location that doesn’t even deal with trailera. The lady I spoke to - to change the reservation was very helpful and the location was very good.
