The agent at this location wasn't friendly he is rude no respect

The express pickup process was ATROCIOUS. First, there was nothing express about it. The woman Alexandria who reviewed my pics took forever to reply and then simply told me to retake them. It was NOT clear that the equipment needed to be in the background. Then she instructed me to retake my drivers license and get all four sides of it. She meant the truck, although there were never any prompts in the process to take those pics. Lastly and most infuriatingly she asked why I had a Missouri drivers license if I was moving to Washington DC and asked for a piece of mail from DC. Little hard to do when I'm JUST MOVING there for a new job. Not to mention what does it matter if my license is from my home state where I maintain residence? Beyond infuriating. Took over half an hour in a bit so safe neighborhood. Frankly, I would appreciate some compensation for this traumatic experience.

This location was OK in itself, but it was a bit of an issue to get to since it was a significant distance from the location requested in my reservation. The 24 hr notification policy was the only unpleasant part of my uhaul experience.

I was impressed with the courtesy of the attendants. I was not impressed with the confidentiality of my information. There was no separate space for transacting the business. Thus, I was very reluctant to verbalize my personal information. I had to write down my information for the attendant to protect my confidentiality.

The location was okay and the people that worked there helped me. My only problem was that the truck assigned to me was missing the driver's rear view mirror. I made the reservation online and noticed the mirror missing while I was inspecting the truck. I had to call customer service to change the truck. I feel like they should be aware of situations like these, make sure the trucks that are being provided to customers are in good condition before it gets picked up.

This was a very unsatisfactory experience. -After I made the reservation, I was never contacted to confirm the pickup location, as your e-mail confirmation told me would happen. -I went to my preferred U-Haul location on the morning of the rental (on 230th street in the Bronx) and was told I had to go to another location 3 miles away, a 7-11 on Webster Avenue. This was in NYC and I had no car with me or easy way to get to the other location. I spent $20 on an Uber to get to the other location. -My preferred location was right next to my apartment from which I was moving, so having to go to another location was very difficult and wasted about 90 minutes of my time on a very busy day. And I had workers waiting at my apartment to help me move, but no truck for them to move my things in to. -I was told the truck had a full tank of gas, but that was not true. The truck was parked on a steep downhill slope and when it was leveled out, there was only ¾ of a tank. I had to return the truck with a full tank of gas, which I did. But it cost be $32, and I only drove about 40 miles! -I arranged to rent 12 moving blankets with the truck, but was only given 5. This was another huge problem throughout the day of moving. But the location I picked the truck up at only had 5 blankets. I will never rent anything from U-Haul again.

I was not permitted to park my car on the property while renting the Uhaul van. I think that is absolutely unreasonable and a huge inconvenience to a customer who is renting a vehcile. The surrounding area has absolutely no street parking available. So I had to leave the Uhaul site and pick up my friend so he can drive my car back. What is especially upsetting is the fact that there is a ton of parking available on site. Why wouldnt a spot be available to a customer who is renting a van??
