I was told I was given a one way truck. When I got to my destination, I was told I could not drop off the uhaul truck at that location because I was told I had to bring it back to the original location. When I called the original location, I was told I should be able to drop it off at my desired location. Apparently it was not changed in the computer. I have now been going back and forth with customer service because I am going to be charged double for leaving it at the destination store. This whole process has been frustrating and I will NEVER be a uhaul customer again.

This was by far the worst experience I have had renting a vehicle; I will neither use Uhaul in the future nor recommend this service to a friend. After using my rental for a span of several hours, I was charged for two full days of rental service. I called customer service (after trying to call the Kingsland location several times and receiving no response) and was informed I would be refunded in the amount of ~$30. Today, I checked my bank account and, while that amount has in fact been refunded, I now see that I have been charged an additional $50 from the Kingsland site with no explanation or contact from either the site itself or Uhaul's customer service. I have called customer service several times and not gotten through, and the Kingsland site does not answer calls. As far as the site itself, the employee working when I returned the van was extremely rude to me. When I explained that I had used 1/8 of a tank of gas, and wanted to know whether he was aware of the fuel capacity of the vehicle I had used (so I could refill the exact amount I had used), he was extremely demeaning and implied that I did not understand how to calculate something so simple as a basic fraction (as a blonde woman of moderate intelligence, I did not find being made to feel stupid and inept a new experience; however, I did pay for and operate a moving van independently, and it would be nice to be treated with the respect I suspect would be afforded to a male customer of the same intellectual capacity). The attendant in question also told me to leave the car on while I filled up the gas so I could watch the gauge rise - which, little as I know about auto mechanics, I feel confident that one should generally avoid having a car running while filling it with a flammable substance. Moving is stressful enough without being continuously and erroneously charged, in addition to being treated like an idiot. I would say that Uhaul made my moving experience even more difficult that it already was. I am very disappointed in the service, and worry I am going to have to cancel my credit card to avoid having recurrent and inexplicable charges showing up.

this was the second rental in a row where i'd had to rent from a different location, and Kingsland ended up saving me. i'll hit the first, separately. in this case, your shop at 996 (i think) Metropolitan, which allowed me a 'counter-pick up' option during my reservation process, CLOSED 4 HOURS EARLY, with about 20 vehicles locked inside. this made me late for my event, for the second time in a row, you still charged me full price, as usual, and (after a half hour in the 90-degree sun, mostly on hold), ended up sending me to the place i would have preferred to go, anyway -- had your reservation system not still said, as of that morning, that they had no vans. this burns me, as a very regular customer, to no end. so, in short. for the 3rd time out of 4 rentals, your entire system failed us both, no compensation was offered, but this review shows as 5 stars, because Kingsland saved my ass. again. i hope your company as a whole pulls it together, as i'm fresh out of 3rd and 4th chances, at this point.

This location added a cleaning fee to a truck that was used lightly for about 2 hours. This cleaning fee represents 20% of the expense is a complete and utter lie. I would never use this location and would warn any friends against it. Rude staff as well.

I have used it for less than 20 miles but he charged me for 35 miles. He did not gave me the receipt right away and said I will get it in email. When I check the email, it is showing 35 miles on it. I will recommend this location to anyone.
