There were many spots of damage on the truck some that looked like the stickers has fallen off and had yet been fixed. It made for a challenging look over before we took the truck. There had to be at least 30 damage stickers on the truck!

The owner of the location has intimidated me into purchasing insurance for my vehicles. I've gone back though just because of convenience of location, however, I will not do that anymore. When I walked in he asked if I wanted insurance. I said, no. Then he says ok. So, you are going to bring back the van with a huge hole in it right? Then he asks what insurance company do I use? What's the policy number and contact information. I've rented from U-Haul before and I have never provided this information, nor do I need to. He's unprofessional, rude, and believes if he is able to intimidate his customers that he will get them to pay the extra few bucks. I am never coming back to this location ever again.

Prepare the exact equipment on time. Do not give 10' truck when client asked 15' one and prepare it right on time as promised to the customers.

I made booking online. confirmed. then was told there were no vans, despite me calling to confirm the day before. luckily, a van came back early and I was able to take it. I was at the location much longer than I should have been

Could not be more disappointed. I received my email confirmation saying 'guaranteed reservation'. When I got to the location it wasn't open and uHaul weren't answering the phone. Turns out the location they gave me wasn't open on the weekends. So this meant I missed my move-in slot arranged with my apartment building. I also had to pay a fine for moving out of sequence. They ended up sending me to a different location and didn't have the van I booked so I had to use this massive truck which I wasn't comfortable driving, it was also filthy. The customer service rep wasn't apologetic and actually got angry at me when I asked why they would give me a booking at a place that is closed on the day I booked. All-in-all a horrible experience. No compensation was offered. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I actually can't think of anything that could have been better -- the service was great, the vehicle ran perfectly and did everything I needed it to do, the price was right. Maybe the stereo system could have been a little more boomin' but other than that it was the best customer experience possible. Thanks!

This location and the people that assisted me were friendly and helpful. I owe my ability to move at the time i needed to move(as per my reservation) to the people at the 51 Kingsland location. 5 stars to them and the customer service they provided. UHaul itself, kept referring me to park slope at ridiculous pick up times...this part of my Experience was very unpleasant and frustrating.

This place had the audacity to charge me for mileage I never drove. they couldn't read the mileage from the van and didn't realize it was calculated incorrectly. They wanted my money and made no efforts to correct the mileage issue.

I was given a rebate of $30.00 for poor Customer Service when I went to present the rebate I was told that it will be given when the truck is returned because the young man or his dad didn't seems to not know how to process my rebate when I got my final bill via email the $30.00 was not deducted. When I called in regarding the issue I was told I need to reach out to somewhere else when in fact they themselves told me that it will be deducted when I return the truck. Also, im being charged $58.00 for 1 hour, when I just rented a van for 2hrs and my bill was $39.00. I didn't go far and did not have to replace any fuel.When I called to inquire I got nothing but rudeness and no real explanation as to why the additional $20.00. I will not go back to that location nor will I refer anyone there. I feelI have been ripped off from my rebate and for me being charged $58.00 for 1 hour..

The van I rented was visibly dirty and smelled like old cigarettes and cat litter. When I asked for an alternate vehicle, I was told none were available. I am extremely dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the van.

The youngman was nearly 1/2 hour late. I reserved a teuck for 8am he didn't come until 8:24am never is he apologetic. This is the second time I rented a truck from this location and this was the second time this young person was late. He is not friendly at all and was not apologetic for each time he came to work. Was argumentive and gave me the key to the wrong truck, he tried to tell me that the truck i was using was the one inside the garage being fixed for some reason. Bad experience no good I wouldn't rent there while he is there if I don't have to on a Saturday ever again.

It was disappointing to find out on the day of my move that this location doesn't have furniture dollies, which I'd ordered. It made the moving process quite taxing.
