They added the insurance without telling me and tried to charge me for an extra day. Extremely rude. Told me that I should look at what I signed when i complained about the return time and they were totally wrong. When I showed him that I returned in accordance to the agreement there was no apology.

This is my second time renting from this location, and both times it's been easy and efficient. They've had the truck size I requested and getting/returning the truck and keys is quick and painless (really important after a long day of moving).

The van I rented was up to snuff - worked fine, handled fine, no problems other than low tire pressure, which happens to my car when it's as cold out as it happened to be that day (high of 16). In addition, the individuals I dealt with were sufficiently professional and helpful. The problem is with UHaul's system. I was directed to use self check-in via the app. At the identity verification step, I was informed I needed an in-state ID. Now, here's the thing, y'all: I don't have one yet because I just *moved*, which happens to also be why I was renting a *moving vehicle*. I'm sure this is an insurance/liability thing, though rental car companies don't need in-state ID. As odd as it seems, I could've dealt with this requirement if (a) it had been made clear at any point in the reservation process, or even if (b) there was a way for me to send a screenshot of my bank info (I don't typically carry paper bank statements around, not that I get paper statements anymore) or something along those lines. As it was, I had to: - go back and forth in the app's chat feature for about ten minutes - go to the guy at the pick up location, who said he couldn't do anything for me - call and get transferred a couple times - have the original reservation canceled - and finally go back to the on-site guy, who gave me the same vehicle at the same rate with a paper rental agreement, which seems like it could have happened earlier in the process. This whole thing would have been a frustrating and silly process even if it weren't 16 degrees out, though that certainly didn't help any.

This location is the worst. This is the second time they tried to charge me more for my rental than they're suppose to. They make you sign all of the paperwork and they don't bring the truck for you to verify what you've actually signed is accurate. Attitude is very nasty when trying to resolve the issue. THIS LOCATION NEEDS TO BE CLOSED OR NEW ACTUAL EMPLOYEES. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

I ordered 12 furniture pads but they said they only had 6. I later realized there was only 5. They also didn't show me to the vehicle, which was parked on the street 3 blocks away in a rough Brooklyn neighborhood. I had to test my keys in every uhaul parked on the street for 3 blocks before I found my vehicle.

It's just a key drop off window, but very convenient for after-hours or holidays so appreciated that I could access it on New Years' Eve. I also received my receipt very promptly which is always appreciated.

Pickup place is a gas station, staff is very nice it's just a smaller space without a ton of add-on items available; one of the things we ordered they didn't have but they gave us some rope for free. Truck ended up with a leak though, driving cross country in the rain meant some of our stuff was soaked through (mattress, couch, some clothes, other boxes).

Cost was MUCH more than anticipated. I used less than 1 gallon of gas, but service charges were tacked on. Wait time was not acceptable. Waited 20 minutes to speak with a rep/check out my equipment.

I waited over an hour to get a truck because the person working at this location said I needed a key number. Uhaul does not provide key numbers, only reservation numbers. I told the guy working there this and he said he will not be able to service me if I did not know the key number. I called uhaul twice about this, and both representative was able to speak to the worker and they told him that I am not giving a key number. He still refused to type in my reservation number in the computer to give me a key. It wasn't until another worker showed up that I was finally provided with a key for the truck that I reserved.
