Before I booked, I called to confirm that i could use 2 separate cards to make payment. I was told that I could so I made the reservation. Sure enough, when I went to pay the cards "weren't working". Spent a half hour trying to pay and then they put 4 holds on my credit card and were surprised that it didn't go through then refused to remove the holds so that I could clear things up with my credit card company. Service rep on the phone was very nasty. Would not recommend, terrible experience for something that should be so easy.

Booked a 20ft truck on 4th avenue Brooklyn. Was told the day before to go someone else (far) to get a 26fter. On premise in the building and outside the staff was very rude, not willing to help, not even saying hi. Gas level was 1/4 even though they put 1/2 on contract. When I made a comment the employee made a note with a pen on the contract without reissuing a new one. I felt pressure to get out of the place as soon as possible. Also got asked by different people many times if I wanted help with my move. Just didn’t feel comfortable as people were moving around my truck. Just not a pleasant experience overall. I will not go back.

It's not the location that I had a problem with it was Uhaul not having a reserved truck for me in NJ. I had to find a way from Jersey City, NJ to Brooklyn, NY to get the truck, and I was not notified of this until the day before I was to pick up the truck. It threw my entire schedule off and I had to pay over $97 to get to Brooklyn and I lost 5 hours of packing time. The people at the Brooklyn store were friendly and I am not rating them with 1 star - that rating is for whoever did the POOR job of reserving a truck in NJ!!! The reason I would not recommend this location to a friend is because it's in Brooklyn and traffic is a nightmare.

Need more staff to service the customer. One staff to service 6 customer, smh, while the other 2 staff looking busy doing nothing of important. They were just walking around the office.

It had 3 persons on duty with a very long line, one 1 person was working the line,people was fussing and cussing. Later 1 other person came and started doing returns vehicle. More staff is needed especially evenings.??

When they tell you the van have 1/4 thank of gas and you drive it and its on red and you have to put the gas in it they Dont pay you Jack

The guy outside who releases the trucks is very rude and dismissive. He needs customer service training. He asked me to examine the truck before he released it to me. When I began examining it he rushed me. When I brought the truck back and asked him what I needed to do, he totally ignored me and walked away. Bad customer service from the guy who releases the trucks. The people inside were very professional.

The in store customer service is not the best and far from good. The systems seem to give the attendants problems during the pick. During the drop off the staff is inefficient and rude (Wendy gordan the owner) they seem to be under staffed as well
