My reservation was or 930am. I got to the site. Did my check in. Went to get my key and it was not there. I had to wait till 11am for the store front to open to get my key. Other then that it's was a ok experience.Robert B.

September 1, 2023, pick up for 11:30am. Reference number #12795108 I showed up to Uno market place at 11:45am and the person at the front of the restaurant told me that the representative for Uhaul hasnt been in the store yet. It was later revealed that the representative has not shown up for the past 2 days... The cook in the restaurant told to do the online check in and they would give me a code to get access to the truck key, however, there was no lock box for the specific truck i was given and the keys needed to be handed over to me. I waited in the parking lot for a hour and 20 mins talking to many customer service representatives and only 2 out of the 6 people that I talked to were empathetic and helpful. At 1pm, as I am still on the phone with customer service, the Uhaul representative pulls up in the parking lot, enters the store and immediately starts to help customers in the restaurant. It was only until his co-worker suggested to him that he should help me with the Uhual did he come over and talk to me. He stated that he was resolving an issue in Toronto and was driving back as fast as he could. I asked if he knew that there was a rental at 11:30am that day and he said yes but needed to resolve the issue in Toronto. So he knew that I was going to be there and left for Toronto anyway with no back up plan. The rep just ended up giving me the keys to the vehicle, without signing any documentation, and I had to ask if i could extend my time. I had to go back into the store and ask if he wanted to do a circle check of the vehicle together and he said that he already had that information and i could do it 'if i wanted to'. The representative was defensive, rude and not helpful. It felt like I was interfering with his day by being there. By far the worst U-Haul experience I have ever had and it was very frustrating to deal with that on my moving day. I was also told that I would be given a refund for my poor experience yet I was still charged $96.19 on my credit card. I would really like a refund and to know if that representative has been spoken with.Sarah S.
